Last week during Sunday service. A conference was held instead of a normal sermon, to present that Unity Baptist is currently in the process of a restart. Almost all individuals who were in attendance signed a paper pledging to be part of this process. Below I have six categories where those individuals and including anyone else who is reading this can serve and help advance this church toward doing great things for the Kingdom of God.
1. Prayer Team
Praying weekly for renewal, gathering together at the church for prayer.
2. Hospitality Team
Greeters, welcome tables, coffee, visitor cards, parking attendants, etc.
3. Care Team
Phone calls, cards, visits, sick and shut-in care.
4. Outreach Team
Community events, invitations, follow-up
5. Children/Family Readiness Team
Preparing nursery/children & youth classrooms, safety policies, volunteer teaching, etc.
6. Building Readiness Team
Cleaning, update signage, repairs and updates to building, parking lot, curb appeal.
