Southminster Church is a loving family of faith committed to representing the true nature of Jesus to the best of our ability, strength and understanding. We strive to do so by promoting three core values: BIBLICAL TEACHING, VIBRANT WORSHIP and AUTHENTIC COMMUNITY. BIBLICAL TEACHING: We believe the word of God is authoritative in all matters of life and faith and full of God's wisdom to guide us t

hrough the challenges of life. The wisdom, compassion and love of Jesus is the core principle of the Bible and therefore we seek to understand all of scripture through the grace, love and person of Jesus Christ. Worship is where we come, praise, pray and allow gratitude to change our perspective. We worship with a variety of vibrant music, from contemporary to re-imagined hymns, all seeking to bring glory to God. AUTHENTIC COMMUNITY: We believe an essential component of the early church was the aspect of community. We believe there is value in knowing the members of your church and being known by the leaders of your church. These relationships are vital for our continued growth and support as followers of Jesus. Our mission is to REACH out with the love of Jesus; TRANSFORM lives with the word of God; and SEND forth disciples to serve in the Spirit. This growing and thriving church is located in Gastonia, North Carolina, at 1401 Hoffman Road. Throughout the week, we offer opportunities to worship and a variety of small groups, Bible studies, classes and programs for people of all ages. In this season we are adapting our programs to meet the changing needs of our community and keep our members and neighbors safe. Please check our page and website to get updates on weekly programs.
