Southminster Church Southminster Church is a loving family of faith committed to BIBLICAL TEACHING, VIBRANT WORSHIP and A VIBRANT WORSHIP: Life can be hard, the days can be full.

Southminster Church is a loving family of faith committed to representing the true nature of Jesus to the best of our ability, strength and understanding. We strive to do so by promoting three core values: BIBLICAL TEACHING, VIBRANT WORSHIP and AUTHENTIC COMMUNITY. BIBLICAL TEACHING: We believe the word of God is authoritative in all matters of life and faith and full of God's wisdom to guide us through the challenges of life. The wisdom, compassion and love of Jesus is the core principle of the Bible and therefore we seek to understand all of scripture through the grace, love and person of Jesus Christ. Worship is where we come, praise, pray and allow gratitude to change our perspective. We worship with a variety of vibrant music, from contemporary to re-imagined hymns, all seeking to bring glory to God. AUTHENTIC COMMUNITY: We believe an essential component of the early church was the aspect of community. We believe there is value in knowing the members of your church and being known by the leaders of your church. These relationships are vital for our continued growth and support as followers of Jesus. Our mission is to REACH out with the love of Jesus; TRANSFORM lives with the word of God; and SEND forth disciples to serve in the Spirit. This growing and thriving church is located in Gastonia, North Carolina, at 1401 Hoffman Road. Throughout the week, we offer opportunities to worship and a variety of small groups, Bible studies, classes and programs for people of all ages. In this season we are adapting our programs to meet the changing needs of our community and keep our members and neighbors safe. Please check our page and website to get updates on weekly programs. We'd love to see you at Southminster!

A NOTE FROM PASTOR DAN - FRAUDULENT TEXT MESSAGES SENT. (For the record, we still think it is going to be a great day!)

Southminster,

Unfortunately, a scam has occurred again.

I did not send text messages seeking financial help for someone in need. I want to thank everyone who reached out quickly to make me aware of the issue.

As a reminder, WE WILL NEVER SOLICIT FINANCIAL SUPPORT in this manner. All support for the ministries of the church and community will only ever happen in corporate worship, and a public setting. Additionally, I will only use my cell phone as a means of contacting you.

I apologize for any inconvenience and grieve the reality that we live in a world where such attempts on Christ's church are consistent.

I do not know how such scams are executed, but I pray that those who do; who obviously have some level of skill and knowledge; come to a point in their life where they decide to use their talents for the glory of the Kingdom and advancement of the gospel, and to be a blessing to this world.

I pray you have a blessed day!

Grace and Peace,

Pastor Dan
