d a great need to expand the preaching and teaching ministry that Macedonia started in 2005 to ministries which service the total man. “We realize that only a small portion of your life is spent in church. We want to minister to you so that you know how to deal with the larger part of your life spent outside these walls, ” he says. Macedonia currently has established preaching, teaching, music, and dance ministries. We also offer tutoring to anyone in need. Most recently we began a relationship ministry to help people realize they are not alone in matters of the heart and remind them to put God first. Members of Macedonia have expressed desire to establish food and clothing ministries but our facility is not sufficient to house the supplies needed for either ministry. Realizing that if you allow young people to use their gifts and talents in the church Pastor Youngblood is open to suggestions and requests for ministries. “I won’t say we will implement every suggestion, but we will listen and see if it is feasible at this time.”

There's an important question that we all must ask ourselves. Actually, it's the most important thing we will ever have to ponder. Who is Jesus to us? It's funny how one question that seems like it should be simple, is one that will decide our fate for eternity. Jesus is the most known figure in the world. Thanks to the internet and just simple research, Jesus has definitely been heard of by most people. However, it's who He is to you personally that matters. For some, He is just a great teacher. For some, He is just an historical figure. Sadly, for some, He is nothing to them. If anyone reading this fits into any of those thought processes, we urge you to give who Jesus is real thought. You have one lifetime to discover who He is. One lifetime to make the decision of who He is to you.

Today we heard a very powerful message through the gentle teachings of our compassionate Minister Sonia Youngblood. People pleasing . It's something most of us are guilty of from time to time. It could be wanting the love and approval from family, wanting everyone you meet to like you or it could be gaining the love and adoration of crowds of people. It is a human emotion to want to be liked or loved. Most of us don't want to feel like we are not cared about. However, there is a danger in caring too much about this. You can fall into an area of people pleasing. You'll find yourself constantly trying to make others happy and it still may never be enough. Sadly, most people are never pleased. It doesn't matter what you have done, you could have done more. If you are not careful, you can replace pleasing people over pleasing God. It could be something you know God does not approve of, but the people around you like it. So you do it to get their praises. Friends and family come and go. Don't let people's opinions of you matter more than His. ❤️

Everyone has dark times. Times when it feels like the walls are closing in on you and you feel trapped. It could be mentally, where you feel like things are constantly against you and you have taken all you can take. It could be financially, when you have more to pay for than you have in your bank account. Or it could be spiritually, the most darkest time to go through is when you feel God is not there for you. There's nothing worse than the feeling that you are drowning and the only one who can save you is not there. This message is to let you know that He is there. He is always with you and will never leave you. Do not fear, God will see you through every obstacle. Satan wants us to believe it's over and God will not help us. Don't trust your feelings and fears. Trust in God. ❤️

When you woke up this morning, made your breakfast and got dressed for church, you probably had a million things going through your head. Maybe it was not being late or what you were going to cook for Sunday dinner when you got home. One thing that sometimes we all forget to think about is God showed up for us. He came this morning to wake us up and start us on our way. Have you ever thought about that God's plan all along was to be there for us?
Long ago, God planned to be there for us, to always show up for us. He sent His son to come down and be a Savior for us! Jesus came to show us the way home. He came to be our light and our salvation. His sacrifice gave us a fighting chance. Thank you Lord! Our Savior has come. ❤️

Everyone whether they admit it or not, wants to feel special. They want to feel unique, set apart, that something great is in them. Where the problem comes in is, we are trying to be special through the world's point of view. The world has it's rules of what makes you special. If you're heavier weight, lose weight then you'll be special. If you don't look like celebrities, get surgery and alter your original look, then you'll be special. Those are just examples of what trying to be special for the world can make you feel. However, did you know that you are already special? God, the creator of all creation has already chosen you. He has called you! That is the most special and set apart you could ever be! Remember, “Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.” 1John 4:4 KJV
