Morning Glory
Scipture Acts 16:25-30
Subject: Prayer and praise
And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. (V.25).
Paul and Silas were bound to prison. Instead of being fearful they sang and praised God. When you find yourself in a difficult place cry out to to God in prayer. And praise him until your deliverance comes. Paul and Silas praised God until their chains were loosed and the glory of God fell.
And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. (v26).
And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled. (v27). But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here. (v28).
Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?(v29).
Prayer and praise to God will bring you out and it will save everyone around you.
