Morning Glory
Forget and move forward
Scipture: Philippians 3:13-14
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Paul didn’t feel like he had arrived. But the one thing he did was to forget the things that were behind him. Paul knew there was a higher calling on his life that would require him to let go of his old ways to move forward. We must let go of the past because it keeps us from experiencing the fullness of God’s glory. We must forgive ourselves and others. We must love one another as God has commanded. When we let go and surrender our lives to Christ he will use us for his glory.
