Praise the Lord! πŸ™ŒπŸ™

Our Youth Missions team has reached its fundraising goal for our Summer 2026 Appalachia Missions Trip! We are thankful to God for always providing and for opening these doors so that our Missions Team can go and spread the love of Christ to those in the Cumberland Gap tri-state area.

Thank you to all of our donors who have partnered with us to make this trip possible. Thank you to everyone who has served, stuffed envelopes, cooked food, or have prayed for us. We are so grateful for each of you!

We would love for you to join us in praying for our team as they go July 4 - 10! Become a prayer partner by downloading our prayer card and actively praying for our Team, for the mission field, and that the Gospel would go forth and hearts would be changed for Jesus.

What a full and joyful Sunday at Pisgah! πŸ’™

Today we had the privilege of honoring our graduates. We were missing a few, but we are so grateful for each of these students and for the opportunity to love, encourage, and support them as they step into this next season of life. πŸŽ“

We were also blessed to hear from the Allers and learn about the exciting opportunities beginning through their World Witness internship program, opening doors for young people to serve and experience life on the mission field. 🌍

After worship, our Appalachia Missions Team hosted a fundraiser lunch. The BBQ was delicious, the fellowship was sweet, and we are officially counting down the days until the trip! If you weren’t able to give today, you can still support the team through our website at pisgaharpchurch.org/youth-appalachia-missions

And we wrapped up the day with a fun Field Day celebration for the end of the school year! β˜€οΈπŸƒβ€β™‚οΈπŸŽ‰

πŸŒΏβ˜€οΈ Our Pisgah Community Club enjoyed a wonderful outing today touring Table Rock Tea Farm in Pickens! What a beautiful day to explore the farm, learn about the tea-making process, and spend time together in fellowship and community.

We’re so thankful for opportunities like these to make memories, enjoy God’s creation, and grow closer as a church family. πŸ’™

"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." - Proverbs 22:6

Raising up the next generation and helping students flourish and grow is so very important. God commands us to love children and to teach them how they should walk in life. We are honored to teach children how to love God, to serve Christ, and to come alongside families in raising children here at Pisgah.

We also have the honor to serve and be the hands and feet of Jesus by supporting schools in our local community. It is a joy to partner with local educators as they train up children in the way they should go.

For several years we have been stewards of local education grants through the Kenley Committee here at Pisgah. This committee fills needs by supplying funds for teachers to purchase supplies for their classrooms and schools every year. It is a blessing to be able to financially support educators, and we are grateful to the Kenley family for trusting us with these funds.

Teaching the next generation is a calling, and we are so grateful for each and every teacher who loves, advocates, and educates students. It is an honor to partner with and serve local education in this way.

If you are a teacher at a school within five miles of our church, please be on the lookout for grant applications this fall. We want to walk alongside you as you love students in our community.

How grateful we are to gather together to "Make a joyful noise to the Lord!" It was a beautiful day for Homecoming, and we were so glad to see new faces, old friends, and our church family. Today we celebrated 230 years as a Pisgah Church family here in Gaston County.

We pray that we will continue to proclaim Christ to all the earth "for the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations."

A special thank you to Rev. Clint Davis for sharing God's Word with us from Psalm 100 this morning, for the Women's Ministry for preparing for the potluck, and all our other volunteers who made today special.

πŸ’™ We are so excited to welcome our newest member into the Pisgah church family!

After completing communicants class, it was a joy to see this step of faith and commitment to Christ and His Church. We are thankful for the work God is doing and for the opportunity to walk alongside one another as we grow in grace.

Please join us in welcoming Addie and praying for her as she continues to follow the Lord! πŸ™
