Join us tonight at 6:30 PM as we begin our brand-new 7-week study, “How To Study The Bible.”

Whether you’ve been studying Scripture for years or are just getting started, this series is designed to help you grow in confidence and effectiveness as you open God’s Word. Together, we’ll learn practical tools for understanding, interpreting, and applying the Bible to our daily lives.

🤍 FREE FROM CONDEMNATION 🤍

One of the most powerful truths of the Gospel is that our standing before God is not based on our performance... it is based on the finished work of Jesus Christ.

This week in Romans 4:1-12, Pastor Chris reminded us that:

✔️ Condemnation is removed by faith, not works.
✔️ Condemnation is covered by God's grace.
✔️ Condemnation is conquered through Christ alone.

"Faith does not earn salvation. Faith RECEIVES salvation."

🎉 Happy Birthday, Pastor Chris! 🎉

Today we celebrate a man who truly embodies what it means to be a servant leader.

If there's an event happening at Sandy Plains, chances are Pastor Chris is there. Whether it's worship services, fellowship gatherings, outreach events, or work days, he faithfully shows up time and time again. Not because he has to, but because he genuinely loves God's people.

His servant's heart is evident in everything he does. He's just as willing to preach God's Word from the pulpit as he is to clean toilets, take out the trash, cook meals, or serve others behind the scenes. No task is too small when it comes to serving the Lord and His church family.

Pastor Chris has a sincere desire for our church to be more than just a congregation... he wants us to be a family. Through his leadership, encouragement, and example, he has helped cultivate a church culture where people are known, loved, and cared for.

He is an incredible man of God who faithfully preaches the Bible and consistently demonstrates the character of Christ. His joy is contagious, his love for people is genuine, and his passion for the Lord is evident in all that he does.

And while there's never been any doubt about the love he has for his wife, daughters, and grandchildren... the verdict is still out on the sons-in-law. 😉 (Though we all know he loves them too, he just enjoys giving them a hard time!)

Pastor Chris, thank you for your faithful leadership, your servant's heart, and the love you pour into our church family. We love you and are blessed beyond measure to call you our pastor.

This year, as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday, we’re investing in the future by providing 250 backpacks filled with school supplies for students at W.A. Bess Elementary School and Forestview High School.

For just $25, you can provide a student with a backpack full of supplies to start the school year prepared and confident.

Donations will be accepted through July 5.

This Tuesday we’re still reflecting on the powerful message shared by Rev. Ronnie Bowers about compassion and the heart of God.

Compassion isn’t just something we feel.
It’s something we live.

We were challenged to truly SEE people, SERVE with intention, and SHOW the heart of Christ in the way we love others.

“Because compassion reflects God’s heart and we represent Him.”

As believers, it’s easy to become busy, efficient, and productive while slowly losing sensitivity to the people around us. This message reminded us to slow down, notice people, and love like Jesus.
