We have an incredible lineup of events coming to the African American Museum of History and Culture at Loray Mills, and we want you to be a part of it!
From honoring our veterans to celebrating the rhythm of our culture, there is something for everyone this season.
**Upcoming Events**
Summer Reading Program
Our "Lift Every Voice" program kicks off via Zoom on Sunday, May 31st at 6:00 PM, featuring Dot Guthrie and Nicole Antunes. Use the password **"singasong"** to join!
Tuning Up for Juneteeth.
Join us on Tuesday, June 16th from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM for an evening with DJ Don. This soulful night of legendary music is free to the public!
WWII Uniform Traveling Exhibit
Launching June 20th at 6:00 PM, this moving exhibit commemorates the service and sacrifice of African American soldiers. The exhibit will be on display through November 30th.
Black Music Month Concert
On June 20th at 7:00 PM, we are celebrating America250 with performances by Bettye Canada, Chriscynethia Floyd, Bruce Wiley, and The Booker Wilson Band. Tickets are $50.00 per person.
