We’re excited about what’s happening at St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church this coming weekend, August 29–30, 2026!

🎒 Saturday, August 29 | 11:00 AM–2:00 PM
Join our Youth Ministry for a Back-to-School Shoe & Supply Giveaway! Gently used and new shoes and school supplies will be available while supplies last. Children must be present. There will also be lunch, games, and face painting!

🌺 Sunday, August 30 | 10:00 AM
Come back and worship with us for Youth Sunday — Hawaiian Day! We invite the entire congregation to support our youth by wearing your favorite Hawaiian attire. 🌴🌺

We’re looking forward to a wonderful weekend of giving, fellowship, worship, and supporting our youth!

What a blessed Sunday! Our very own Minister Howard Nickles brought an amazing Word, and the Sounds of St. John’s Choir blessed us through song and praise. 🎶🙏🏽

We were especially blessed today to welcome a new member into the St. John’s family. We rejoice in what God is doing and celebrate this beautiful addition to our church family! ❤️

✨ SERVING TOGETHER • GENERATIONS OF FAITHFULNESS ✨

What a beautiful sight to see our senior ushers working side by side with our younger generation of ushers! ❤️

There is something truly special about watching one generation lead, encourage, and pour into the next. Today, our ushers did an amazing job welcoming our members, families, friends, and visitors into worship with warm smiles and serving hearts.

At St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church, we thank God for our Usher Ministry. Each one brings something special to the team, and together they demonstrate what it means to serve the Lord with gladness.

To our senior ushers, thank you for your faithfulness, wisdom, and example. To our young ushers, we are so proud to see you learning, growing, and serving. And to our entire usher team—we see you, we appreciate you, and we thank God for you! 🙏🏽❤️

🙌🏽🔥 REVIVAL FINALE | WHAT A TIME WE HAD! 🔥🙌🏽

What a powerful way to close out our revival at St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church! Tuesday night was truly a blessing from beginning to end.

We were blessed by Minister Paris White of Mount Vernon Baptist Church, who delivered an outstanding and powerful message:

✨ Sermon: “From Victim to Victorious”
📖 Scripture: John 8:1–11

What a Word! 🙌🏽 We were reminded that our story doesn’t have to end with what we’ve been through. Through God’s grace, we can move from victim to VICTORIOUS! ❤️

We were also grateful for the wonderful Mount Vernon Baptist Church family who came to support Minister White and blessed us with amazing songs of praise. 🎶🙌🏽
