🌟 Another Sunday Highlight at St. John's Missionary Baptist Church! 🌟
What a blessing it is to witness the joy, laughter, and excitement of our amazing youth! From our youngest children to our older youth, we are grateful for each one of them and the energy they bring to our church family.
This Sunday was filled with fun, smiles, cool sunglasses, and lots of personality! 😎✨ Watching them shine through their different poses, gestures, and expressions reminded us how important it is to create moments where our youth can learn about Christ, build friendships, have fun, and simply enjoy being part of an amazing church family.🙌🏽💛

Five talented dancers. Countless smiles. Endless joy. 💕 Our congregation was blessed on Youth Sunday by these young ladies' beautiful dance ministry, demonstrating that worship knows no age boundaries. We appreciate each of them and the joy they brought to “The Gathering Place.” ✨🙌🏽 Their smiles, energy, and love for the Lord serve as a reminder that God is raising up the next generation to shine for Him. Keep shining, little lights! ✨

Here are a few more special snippets from our amazing Youth Sunday celebration.

There's still time to register your youth to celebrate Juneteenth with Keep Gastonia Beautiful at a special youth event in our community garden. Tuesday, June 16th 10:30-12:00 noon

Participants will:
Learn about Aunt Charlotte McClee and community growth
Create an Underground Railroad-inspired craft
Take a short walk to the Highland Community Art Park and
Discover the stories of Gastonia’s three Black mayors and their impact on our city

All registered youth are welcome as we learn about local history, leadership, and the power of community together.
