Today’s throwback means more than most. ❤️

We found an old flyer today from the very first time Sherman presented the Songs in the Night ministry… at Springwood Free Will Baptist in Gastonia, NC.

What started as a simple step of faith has turned into testimonies, prayers, and church services where God met hurting people right where they were.

It’s amazing to look back and see how God can take something small and use it in ways we never imagined.

To every church, every pastor, every friend, and every person who ever sat in a service and listened… thank you for being part of the story.

And to think… it all started with one “Will you come speak...?” 🎶🌙

Somebody sat in a church pew this morning smiling… while silently carrying heartbreak.
Somebody worshipped through grief.
Somebody showed up exhausted.
Somebody almost didn’t come at all.
And maybe somebody reading this tonight needed the reminder that God still sees them.

Think On These Things:

“Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God; Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:25-27)

Our Father knows what's best for us,
So why should we complain
We always want the sunshine,
But He knows there must be rain

And the merriment of cheer,
But our hearts would lose their tenderness
