Our 13th Man Extend a Helping Hand event to provide necessities to the homeless was a blessing. It was great to see our young men volunteer their time serving the community. It is a blessing to be a blessing.

Happy February TPM Family, the 13th Man and Dear Friends. Happy Black History Month! It's a new month and God has blessed us to see it!

Here are our updates and announcements for this new month God has blessed us with:

February 4th-The 13th Man Charlotte Chapter-Extending Helping Hands Event (see attached flyer)

February 5th- Communion Sunday-10 AM (Livestream: please have your juice and crackers ready)

February 19th- Bible Study at 9 AM (both in person and via zoom)

**April 28th-April 30th: The Charlotte Chapter 13th Man Spring Classic, Charlotte, NC. We will be recruiting each month for this event. Registration takes opens February 15th!**

Please be on the lookout for ongoing outreach and community service projects throughout the year.

Today's Sermon Moving Forward (Free) in 2023. Deuteronomy 1:1-8

Pastor Fred reminded us in order to move forward, we have to let go of the mountain (doubt, fear, unforgiveness, debt, etc.) to move forward free in 2023. He ended with this scripture:

Mark 11:22-25
22 “Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25 And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.

Thirteen Man Charlotte hosted a Feed the Homless event downtown Charlotte. It was a blessing to see others being blessed and thankful. Please continue to pray for those in Charlotte and the surrounding areas that are affected by homelessness.

Greetings TPM Family and Friends, near and far...

With the holiday season upon us, we are geared up and ready for the opportunity to be able to make Christmas possible once again for at least 50 children in the local Gastonia, NC area who are in great need. I will keep adding kids to the Sign Up Genius as the wish list continue to come in and we reach 50.
This year we are excited to partner with two neighborhood elementary schools-Pleasant Ride and Sadler Elementary. The social worker at each school has identified students and their siblings who are in great need and without support, most likely will not receive Christmas at all.

Please consider signing up to sponsor a child, or two. The children/their parents are asked to include on their Christmas wish lists two gifts. One gift is an item they need, the other is an item they want/wish for. When signing up for a child, you'll be signing up to purchase both the requested want and need for the child. If you'd like to do more, totally up to you but not required.

Families will come by the church to collect their wrapped gifts at the church on Sunday, December 18th from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM. Please label the child's name and write that it is from TPM.

Can't make it to the church on December 18th during that time frame? Just reach out to Mrs. Cherie and other arrangements will be made.

Don't live in the local area but want to be a part of gift giving? No problem. You may send gift cards via mail or to the DMV family, through Tenika. If doing this option, please make sure you mail or send in it prior to December 18th.
