Pastor Johnny Deron Brown, III, born and raised in Georgetown, South Carolina is the husband to the lovely and anointed Lady Rachel Marie Brown of Florence, SC, and the father of one son. He is the youngest of four siblings, and blessed to be the son of Mother Estelle & the late John Brown. Pastor Brown was converted at a young age and called to the Ministry at the age of four. However, this manda
te and assignment does not come without preparation. Pastor Brown has exemplified preparation and excellence in every facet of his life. He attended Miami University and Belmont Abbey College obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Educational Studies with a minor in History. Pastor Brown is a candidate for the Masters of Divinity from Shaw University Divinity School. Pastor Brown received his license as a gospel preacher in 1999 at The Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church and was ordained as an Elder in 2005. He is an internationally known evangelist and a renown conference preacher having preached in national conferences such as: The National Baptist Convention USA, Inc. National Baptist Congress of Christian Education, The Apostolic Heritage Conference, and The Christian Covenant Fellowship of Ministries. Pastor Brown has been a featured guest twice on The Word Network’s “Rejoice in the Word.”
He along with his wife organized The Genesis Church of Gastonia, NC in March of 2013. God pressed upon Pastor Brown’s heart to establish a place where people could worship and receive the Word “freely”. Through this ministry, many lives are being touched, saved, and delivered under his leadership. In June of 2015, Pastor and Lady Brown along with The Genesis Church joined in covenant with the Christian Covenant Fellowship of Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Michael A. Blessed with a sharp, bold, and uncompromising delivery, the word of God is ignited by his utter dependence on the Lord, a passion for souls, and his determination to hold fast to integrity. The eccentric preaching and teaching style of Pastor Brown has transformed the lives of thousands of men, women, boys and girls. Pastor Brown is continually, “Pressing towards the Mark.”
