We are excited for the beginning of the school year in Braxton County and want to support our students in every way possible. 📚✏️
On Sunday, August 16 at noon we will encourage our kiddos with a back pack blessing 🎒and sandwich luncheon in their honor. Make plans to join us and bring your students and their packs.

And remember to be in prayer for the upcoming school year. 👩‍🏫👨‍🏫Teachers, students, staff, volunteers, bus drivers, and (especially!) parents need the support of the community to make this the best year ever! 📚🚌✏️

Storm has hit some really hard. Here’s what has been reported to me thus far:
(Lewis County) Cars floating away, a man was trapped in a house on Georgetown Road and the house was washed away, reports of people drowning in Lewis and Upshur counties.
Tornadoes reportedly seen in a few WV counties.
Have not heard any reports from other counties yet.
Please keep one another and those affected in prayer and check on each other.
