The public is invited to join the Gassaway church community for a series of Lenten luncheons Mon Mar 30 through Wed April 1 1 of Holy Week. Each day the host church will provide a lunch, and a brief Lenten message will be given. Each event will be held from noon - 1pm . MON MAR 30- Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church. TUES MAR 31- St Thomas Catholic Church. WED APR 1- Gassaway United Methodist Church.

This past weekend, our church received this beautiful pencil drawing from community artist Roberta Lancaster. It is the church structure as viewed from from the Braxton St side entrance. We are very appreciative of this unique gift, and hope to have it framed and hung in the building soon.

A HUGE shout out and thanks to vocalist, Leah Heater, and accompanists Marjie Foster and Chris Short, for an outstanding afternoon of music at our church earlier today. For those unable to experience the event in person, it has been recorded and a link to the video will be posted as soon as it is available. It was our privilege to host these musicians who so generously share their time and talent.

Thanksgiving came early for our congregation today when we gathered for food and fellowship at Dixie’s Cafe after today’s service.

Our World Communion Sunday service this morning was a celebration of unity with the global Christian community. Members shared items from countries across Asia, Europe, Africa, and Central and South America, highlighting our diversity. One member's thoughtful contribution of homemade pita bread added a meaningful element to the service. Ultimately, this special day reaffirms our shared connection through Jesus Christ.
