Last year was not a very good year for many gardeners including myself. However, this year I have a new plan, therefore, I'm taking the advice that my Grandfather gave me many years ago, he would say "boy always use the Almanac when you plant your garden". So, I went out and bought THE OLD FARMER'S 2020 ALMANAC. According to the Almanac, the best time to plant is on a new moon. Yesterday was the first day of a new growing moon, so I started my inside hothouse by planting seeds. I will keep you posted on the results.

Good morning Friends, it's has been a very good year for our urban garden, we gave vegetables to over 100 families. Now that the gardening season is coming to an end, we will now dig up the white and sweet potatoes that we planted and wait on the frost to close out the season.

While looking at our Trinity Baptist Church Community Garden I became depressed because of all of the work that needed to be done. Therefore, I sent up a pray to the Lord Almighty to sent us some help with the garden. God truly answer prayers , he sent three Angels home from college to help along with the Pastor of our church. They did an outstanding job, all I could do was to look and say over and over amazing, fascinating and Thank you, thank you God Almighty.
