The Holy Spirit just woke me up with a very challenging and thought provoking revelation, which is this: many have misunderstood the meaning of David being a man after God's own heart (thinking God accepted David's actions cuz his heart was right) . How could a man who committed Adultery, Murder, conspired the cover up of his sin,how could he possibly be a man after God's heart. The answer is plain and simple, Once David was confronted by God through a Prophet and other circumstances he became repentant. David became so convicted by his actions he actually wrote the 51st Psalm,it was in this Psalm that we see why David is referred to as "a man after God's own heart", David knew his heart wasn't right so he asked God to create in him a clean heart renew a right spirit in him. David wanted God's heart so he pursued the heart of God that's right David went AFTER GOD'S HEART. The reason David is so acclaimed in the scriptures is because David repented from his evil ways, he knew he was wrong and went after Divine intervention to change it, David didn't say "oh well that's just me or God knows my heart" no David wanted to be right from the inside he wanted to be Holy and was willing to be exposed if need be until he had a transformation. People of God, the lord is looking for some Davids in this season, he is looking for people who want his Heart and don't mind being exposed as they pursue his heart and his presence.
I accept this call to go after the heart of God like never before,even if it cost me my life (Psuche).
