Greetings to the Unity Baptist Church family, Sunday September 6 We are praying for the Body of Jesus Christ to prepare for the Word of God to continue in worshiping our Lord Jesus Christ for all the things He continually blessings in our lives. Let us welcome back Lady Teresa Nichols, who has been out do to surgery,we truly appreciate her and
are thankful to God for His healing power. We also are grateful for Brother Alvin Murphy for providing our services in her place.

Sunday let us come out for Sunday School at9:30 am, followed by Devotion at11:15 a m. Morning worship will begin at11:15am, join us in worship service.
Commemorating, The Baptist Doctrine has two ordinances, (1) is the Baptism, and (2) is the Lord’s Supper. Join us as we do this in remembrance of Him. Lords Supper served after the invitation to discipleship .

Good morning, Saturday September 5,2026, we are so grateful to God for sustaining us through the worst storm in Northwestern Indiana history. During this crisis communities in Gary, East Chicago, Hammond Merrillville came to gather in a spirit of Unity.
The churches reached out providing food and water, non perishable items. Mayor Eddie Melton and his team did an amazing job of providing services to the community. Pastor Eric Boone and the Tree of Life was able to supply food and other essential items to people in need. The Baptist Ministries Conference of Gary Vicinity reached out by giving essential assistance to the community. And so many other churches, and the Urban League of Northwest Indiana, and the NAACP. We know that we are not finished so may the work continue,job well done. And in the words of the late Bishop Henry M. Williamson Sr. “ Gary is not only the city of steel mills, but the city of still wills.”

Good afternoon on tomorrow September 3,2026, at (12) noon Bible Study will be in session. Our lesson will come from the Gospel of Matthew chapter 21:28-31. We will be teaching on “The Willing and Unwilling of two sons. If you are able read the entire chapter. Take time to pray over the scriptures. Looking forward to seeing you on tomorrow.
