We are excited to welcome our special guest speaker, Rev. Dr. G. JaVaughn Troxler.

A native of Greensboro, North Carolina, Rev. Dr. Troxler has lived in the Triangle area for more than twenty-two years. He previously served as Youth and Young Adult Minister at Mount Vernon Baptist Church and has dedicated his life to ministry, mentoring, and serving adults on the autism spectrum. He is a graduate of Greensboro College and Shaw University and recently earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from Campbell University with a concentration in Pastoral Vocational Ministry.

Dr. Troxler has been married for over twenty years to his wife, Nikisha Finch Troxler, and is known for his passion for helping others grow in faith and purpose. One of the scriptures that guides his life and ministry is John 5:6, where Jesus asks, “Do you want to be healed?”—a powerful reminder to seek God's guidance and remain open to His transformative power.

A biography of the revival speaker:

Nikki Barnes is the eldest daughter of Bishop Alonzo and Dr. Jeannette Barnes, and she is a devoted mother of two beautiful daughters. She is a woman whose life reflects both excellence and obedience. Nikki pursued her education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she earned her degree in Information Systems. She went on to build an impressive professional career, working 11 years with IBM and 16 years with NetApp, achieving many of the goals she set for herself in the corporate world.

Yet, even with those accomplishments, Nikki recognized there was something more. Seeking direction, she turned to God—and time and time again, she heard the same call: “I called you to preach.” As she wrestled with that calling and sought confirmation, God answered in a powerful and undeniable way through a message from someone who barely knew her, affirming, “You’ve got to do it. Do what I told you.”

Today, Nikki faithfully walks in that calling. She is a member of All Nations Fellowship COGOP in Raleigh, North Carolina, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Carl Waden, where she continues to grow and serve.

Her life is a testament to faith, obedience, and trusting God’s plan. As she often reminds us through her favorite quote by Corrie ten Boom, “Never be afraid to trust an unknown future to a known God.”
