Summer Worship Schedule starts Sunday, June 7th. 8:00 a.m. at Peace and 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter.

What a busy day at St. Peter on Sunday, May 31st! At 9:30, a reception was held for Lucas Sadewasser in honor of his confirmation and for our graduating seniors Allysa Sadewasser and Gabrielle Wilker. Lucas received a photo frame. Allysa and Gabrielle received quilts made by the Sew Day ladies. During the 10:15 worship service, Lucas was confirmed. The EWALU Bible Camp summer staff was commissioned during the service, too. It was wonderful to see a full church. A potluck dinner followed the worship.

May 31st is Holy Trinity Sunday. We will celebrate Lucas Sadewasser's confirmation during the 10:15 worship service. At 9:30, there will be a reception for Lucas. At that reception, we will also recognize our graduating seniors Allysa Sadewasser and Gabrielle Wilker. ALL are invited to the reception to congratulate these young people. During the 10:15 worship, we will have the commissioning of the EWALU Bible Camp summer staff followed by a potluck.

Garnavillo Christian Youth Group (GCYG) was hard at work Wednesday, May 27 getting ready for the Farmers' Market;

Sunday, May 31st, is the last day of Cross+Gen Sunday School for this school year. We will start again in September and continue learning the New Testament stories. Have a great summer!

A fun Ladies' Day Out was enjoyed by 7 WELCA members on Wednesday, May 20th in Decorah. They had a VERY interesting tour of the Porter House Museum, yummy lunch at Mabe's Pizza, shopping at downtown shops, impromptu tour of the Hotel Winneshiek and ended the day with ice cream at the Whippy Dip!
