The Inner Build Welcome to Nicole Braddy’s The Inner Build: where foundations matter, and formation comes first.

Nicole Braddy, warmly referred to by many as "Nik" or "Nikki" is a native of Columbus Ohio. Raised as a Christian from childhood, it was not until June 2009 that she had an amazing, personal encounter with Jesus Christ that forever changed her life. From that point, God began to transform her from the inside out, revealing His purpose and plans. She began to pursue her calling as a teacher of God's Word, and offering her various gifts & abilities to the body of Christ and the world. Nikki, is currently assisting multiple ministries, both in & outside of the church, and plans to write books as well as continue her education in Interior Design. She's always had a creative side, being introduced to various crafts and hobbies since her childhood, and growing to love fashion, beauty, food, health & décor trends, but her primary love is finding new ways to share her faith. She is married to Bryan Braddy, gaining two "bonus daughters", Ne'vaeh and BryAna, They also have a 1 year old daughter, Ariyan (pronounced Orion) who was born 12 weeks early & they have shared her NICU journey & tips with others. Nicole blogs her journey in marriage, motherhood, and ministry to help others looking for answers, tips, encouragement, and discipleship.

He mistakes interruption for conclusion.

He celebrates chapters while God is still writing the ending.

I logged in to pay a utility bill… Instead, God reminded me of 6 years of His faithfulness.🙌🏽

Sometimes we're so focused on what's happening that we miss what He's been doing all along. An ordinary Monday became an invitation to look back & recognize that God's faithfulness had been quietly woven through every repair, every sacrifice, every prayer, and every unexpected provision.

June looked a little different around here.

Life slowed down for a bit as I spent time vacationing with my family, navigated a few unexpected tech hiccups, and simply lived through the moments instead of writing about them. The quiet seasons become part of the lesson too.

I’m grateful to be back, and today’s post feels especially fitting:

Don’t Abort the Process.

If you’ve ever wondered whether the waiting, the setbacks, or the detours were worth it, I hope this week’s reflection encourages you to keep going. Growth doesn’t always happen on schedule, but it is still happening.

I almost ignored something that changed everything…
I’ve realized that God often whispers plans to us that we dismiss because they seem too small or like just another random thought.

A few months back, a specific idea crossed my mind and I immediately pushed it aside, telling myself I didn't have the time or the capacity. It wasn't until a mentor shared a prophetic word that echoed that exact thought that I realized it wasn't just me—it was Him.

Once I stopped doubting and started moving, the momentum was incredible. In 4 months, I’ve seen an LLC formed, websites launched, AI tools built, and a devotional written.
The wisdom didn’t come while I was sitting still. It met me as soon as I began to build with the bits and pieces I already had.

Recently, while reading "The Success Principles", something stood out—people didn’t just move forward because of opportunity… they moved based on what they BELIEVED.

And it made me pause:
How often do we miss what God is saying…
not because He wasn’t clear,
but because we didn’t believe it was really for us?

Sometimes it’s not confusion, it’s quiet disagreement.
Not loud resistance…just a subtle “that couldn’t be me.”

Many of us are waiting for the full blueprint before we take the first step, but James 1 reminds us that if we lack wisdom, we just need to ask and believe. And sometimes belief doesn’t feel like certainty, it looks like movement.

If there is a “random” thought that keeps coming back to you, don’t be so quick to dismiss it. It might be the very thing He’s waiting for you to start.

Sit with that.
