God's Miracle Deliverance Temple Family Church In April 1982, Pastors Carl and Maurene Looney together with their nine children founded the Ministry in the garage of their home.

God’s Miracle Deliverance Temple was born. God promised to heal through this Temple, the sin sick souls and bring the truth to everyone that would hear. The Looney’s were soon blessed to move into a store-front building. God filled the church and the signs of wonders were there: miracles, healings and blessings were pouring out. Soon, God sent the Pastors a greater vision of the future, in a bigge

r building. In November of 1996, Pastor Looney and the congregation moved to the Down Town area of Garland. This building seats over 500 people. GMDT Family Church has become one of the fastest growing congregations in Garland. This is just the beginning of a God given dream. The Pastors' new Vision is to build a Dome that will seat Thirty Thousand people, reaching million others by television and radio, starting a Christian Academy, Bible College, and housing for the low income. "We see ourselves traveling all over the world, preaching this message of healing and deliverance with signs following" the Pastors say. "If you can Dream it, you can have it!"
