Join us this Sunday @12:30PM as dive into Ephesians 6:17 "Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God." This verse reminds us that the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

The has the power to protect us and equip us in our daily spiritual battles.

"the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God". This is such a powerful reminder that when we arm ourselves with the word of God, we have the ability to overcome any obstacle that comes our way. The word of God is our sword that can cut through any lies, doubts, and fears that the enemy may try to throw at us. It is our source of strength and encouragement in times of struggle.

In today's world, we are constantly bombarded with negative thoughts and influences. From the news to social media, it's easy to get caught up in the chaos and lose sight of God's truth. But we must remember to put on our helmet of salvation and take up our sword - the word of God!

When we immerse ourselves in the word of God, we renew our minds and fill our hearts with His promises. We are reminded of His love for us and His plans for our lives. We are reminded that we are more than conquerors through Christ who strengthens us.

So let us make it a daily habit to read and meditate on God's word. Let us use it to encourage one another and to be a light in this dark world. Remember, the word of God is our sword - a powerful and effective weapon that can bring down any strongholds.

Join this Sunday for the title of our message is FILTHY RAGS.
Isaiah 64:6
The righteousness of man in the eyes of God, a powerful reminder that no matter how hard we try, we can never attain perfection on our own beliefs.

Isaiah writes,"But we are all like an unclean thing,
And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags;
We all fade as a leaf,
And our iniquities, like the wind,
Have taken us away." These words may seem harsh and discouraging, especially for those striving to live a life according to God's will, but they hold a deep truth that we must understand.

A reminder of our human nature. We are flawed and imperfect beings, and no amount of good deeds or righteous acts can change that. Our best intentions and efforts can never measure up to God's holiness.

But let us not despair, for there is hope in this verse. It points us towards the truth that we cannot save ourselves, that we need a Savior who can cleanse us from all unrighteousness. It is a call for us to acknowledge our need for God and to surrender our lives to Him.

We must understand that our righteousness does not come from ourselves, but from the redeeming blood of Jesus Christ. He alone can make us pure and blameless in the sight of God. He is the only one who can clothe us with His righteousness and present us as spotless before the throne of grace.
Let us not rely on our own works or merit to earn our salvation. Instead, let us put our trust in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. Let us humble ourselves before God, confess our sins, and ask for His forgiveness. And He, in all His mercy and grace, will purify us and make us new.

1 Corinthians 16:13-14

Dear Father in heaven, give us sincere and simple hearts to understand everything in the right way.
Grant us work that bears fruit despite our faults and weaknesses, because we want to work with the understanding that comes from love.
Father in heaven, You know that day and night we face many difficulties and setbacks.
But You see us and will help us, so that your name may be honored, your kingdom may come, and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus Christ name we pray Amen.

Last Sunday at FC ESPANOL we leraned about how the serpent tempted Eve and she took a bite from the forbidden fruit, and then gave some to Adam as well. And in that moment, their eyes were opened and they realized they were naked.

Genesis 3:7 says, “Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.”

This Sunday we will learn what happened in Adam and Eve’s lives after they sinned.
How they were filled with shame and tried to cover their nakedness with fig leaves.

Representing all of humanity.
Just like Adam and Eve, when we sin, our eyes are opened to our own nakedness – to our true selves, with all our imperfections and flaws.
And just like them, we try to cover it up with fig leaves – with our own efforts and self-righteousness.

We will reminded that even though sin may have exposed our weaknesses, it does not define who we are. God created us in His image and likeness.
And even after Adam and Eve sinned, God did not leave them alone in their shame.
He provided them with clothes made of animal skin, foreshadowing the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ who would cover our nakedness with His righteousness.

No matter what sins have been committed, no matter how flawed and imperfect we may feel, God has made a way for us to be clothed in His righteousness.
We just have to be born again in Jesus Christ, who died on the cross for our sins.
