Amazing Grace Children's Home Amazing Grace Children's Home has been rescuing children with Faith, Hope, and Love for over 15 years. We have the capacity for 120 children.

Amazing Grace Children’s Home began in 1999 in a small town just outside Mexico City. Dr. Leonardo and Esperanza Rivas were building a medical clinic when they trusted Jesus Christ as their Savior. When God saved them they say He changed their eyes and hearts. They saw the “invisible” children wandering the streets of Mexico City, the world’s 3rd largest city, and their hearts called them into act

ion. Amazing Grace Children’s Home began. They turned their clinic into a home for homeless children. Today their quest to rescue children has produced an active home for up to 120 children.

We're excited to announce that we will be returning to visit the Amazing Grace Children's Home in July 2026! For the trip, we are planning a fiesta celebration, a trip to a Biopark, and a fair day, in addition to meals and special treats throughout the week for the children. Last Friday we had visitors and had the opportunity to share some songs and also share about God's love. Every time people come to the children's home, we don't miss the opportunity to share the gospel and distribute brochures about the plan of salvation. Pray for those who came that they respond to the gospel and receive Christ as their Savior.

Monday, September 1st, was a historic day for the Children's Home as we held the opening ceremony of the school year for our own Academy of Music and Fine Arts and introduced the teachers. Currently ten young poeple from the home will begin professional training in music with high-quality teachers on site in the home. Upon finishing their studies the young people will receive a certification recognized by the government of the State of Mexico.

We are also continuing with the second baking specialization course for the comprehensive training of our youth.

Recently we had a visit from our government authorities, and they congratulated us for the work that is done with each child and young person in the home. Please continue to pray for each child and young person in the ministry as they are not only educated for future careers but more importantly are brought up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

On August 4th, several of the youth at the children's home participated in a cultural and musical festival. Professor Alejandro regularly invites the youth to the cultural and musical events, and he also teaches trumpet lessons to the children. One of the youth was even featured in a solo!

This past Wednesday, August 20th, marks three years since Dr. Rivas' passing. We remember him with great affection and kindness. His teachings have endured to this day. He left us a foundation based on God's love, and we pray that God will care for and protect every child and young person in the children's home.

Thank you for your continued prayers for us at the Amazing Grace Children's Home.

The young people studying Fine Arts have completed their first year at the School of Fine Arts. God has been good and provided them with everything they need for their first year of studies, and we trust that God will provide for this new school year. We ask for your prayers so that we can cover re-enrollment for this new academic year.

The young people studying at the university are also continuing their studies. It is a great joy to see their academic progress, and we pray that God will give them wisdom and guide them on the right path.

Our playground equipment was in very poor condition, and by God's grace, we were able to repair it and to even purchase a new one. This equipment brings great joy and entertainment to the children.

We thanks God that every time people visit us we have the opportunity to share God's love with them. This week, we saw joy in heaven. Josmar celebrated his 18th birthday on Monday, and has made the choice to leave the Children’s Home and begin living independently. He has planned for some time to leave so he could work and live with his sister (Josmar's sister started coming to worship services a few years ago). Josmar has finished high school and also took technical courses such as electricity, baking, and pastry making. He is well equipped to enter the workforce. Most importantly, he carries the seed of the gospel. We hope he does not turn away from God. We ask for your prayers for Josmar and the young people in the group home. God bless you.

In recent days, we have had visitors for Children's Day. God has allowed us to share the gospel with our visitors, and we are filled with joy that many have accepted our Lord Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It is a blessing to see God's mercy in this ministry. We ask that you pray for the people who were saved and that you continue praying for every young person and child in the children's home.
