Hello, June! Be sure to save this month's calendar, add dates into your phone, and make it a priority to engage with the Body of Christ this month!

Basics 1 and 2- This two-week course is the on-ramp to get planted at Faith Church, where you can learn more about your God-given giftings and how you can steward those gifts through serving the people of God within our church and in the world! RSVP on the Central Hub, faithchurchks.org.

First Wednesday Prayer - First Wednesday Prayer AND our Resistance Fast. This year, we are fasting from food on the first Wednesday of each month from sunrise to sunset. Then, we come together to seek the Lord through prayer and worship.

Teen/Pre-Teen Camps - It's not too late to sign up! Go to faithchurchks.org for more info and to sign your rising 7-12 grader up for Teen Camp, or your rising 4-6 grader up for Pre-Teen Camp!

Father's Day - We are so excited to celebrate dads with you this year! By the way- The "Best Dressed" competition is BACK this year! Who will take home this year's imaginary trophy? Wear your best (or tackiest) dad outfit and tag us in your photo. This year's theme- trees. Do with that information what you will. 🫡

This month, we are praying specific prayers for two groups of our church-
1. Team Guatemala:
- Clear communication across the language barrier (Spanish/english translation)
- health/wellness of teams
- prayer covering for ministry engagement
- tender servant hearts
- the building of relationships quickly among our team and ASELSI staff
- For God to be glorified in everything!
Our team returns Monday, June 8th. Continue to cover them in prayer for safe travels!

2. Our Youth:
- safety and health of the campers, youth leaders, and worship team
- shame, fear, and anxiety to be lifted
- transformational encounters that become powerful testimonies of God's love
- healthy, Christ-centered relationships to grow and be strengthened

Want to practice resisting the ways of the world with us? Fast from food from sunrise to sunset tomorrow, and come to First Wednesday! Let’s spend the first Wednesday night of the month with the Body, praising Jesus and interceding for each other!

Look at the birds.

When the world feels heavy, look at the birds.
When the schedule gets busy, stop and look at the birds.
When the bank account gets low, look at the birds.
When your thoughts spiral, look at the birds.
When your heart starts racing, look at the birds.
When you begin to worry, look at the birds.

When you behold God's creation, your natural response is to behold Him and speak praise to Him. It's hard to worry and worship at the same time.

Like any gift, it is an offering. You can decline the gifts of God.

His gifts and manifest presence are often found in the presence of others. “For where two or more are gathered in my name, I am there among them.” Whether you are overflowing or feeling empty, God wants to meet with you this weekend. Bring your joy and your sorrow, your gratitude and your longing. Nothing is wasted at the altar. Bring what you have, and come ready to receive what He has for you.

He is good.

Another month, another set of opportunities for you to grow in your devotion to Jesus!

May 3 - Basics 1! During our Consecration Sunday Services, we celebrated all of our newest church partners who had completed Basics over the last year. May 10 - Mother's Day! Whether you are celebrating with your kiddos, grieving, longing, or a mixture of feelings, our Mother's Day service will be an encouragement to you! Stop by the photo wall to take a picture with your loved ones, grab a treat, and bring your worship, whatever that looks like for you this year.

May 13, 20, 27 - YTH Connects will be meeting in our sanctuary at 7pm for hangs, discussion, prayer, and games! These events are open to all middle and high school students, so bring your friends! 😎

What a blessing it is to be led by !!!

Pastor, thank you for shepherding us, teaching us hard truths in a loving way, making us laugh, giving the best hugs, and having a really iconic mustache. We hope you have the happiest birthday yet! 🎉
