Seven Benefits of the Feast

God's feast days aren't outdated rituals — they're eternal appointments connecting us to His timeline, His glory, and His prophetic plan. From Passover to Tabernacles, they point to Christ and help take us from glory to glory. The Bible comes alive when you understand them from a New Testament perspective.

“Yom Teruah - Feast of Trumpets - for Christians

As you can see in this photo the next major event on God’s prophetic timeline is going to be the feast of trumpets for Christians.

Jesus fulfilled the spring feast at his death, burial, and resurrection. Jesus fulfilled Passover by dying on the day of Passover as our Passover lamb. He stayed in the tomb, fulfilling the feast of unleavened bread for three days and three nights, and he raised from the dead on the feast of First fruits fulfilling that feast. He is the first fruits of the resurrection.

Then he told the disciples to wait until they are clothed with power from on high, and he sent the Holy Spirit to birth the church on the day of Pentecost.

Then there is a long interval of waiting. Just as Jesus fulfilled the spring feasts at his first coming, he will fulfill the fall feast at his second coming.

So the next big event is the on God’s prophetic timeline is the feast of trumpets which prophetically speaks of the rapture of the remnant bride at the second coming of Christ.

At the catching away of the remnant bride, the Bible describes this event with a shout of an archangel, the blast of a shofar, the dead in christ rising first, and those that are alive and remaining being changed in the blink of an eye to be caught up with the Lord. It is a suddenly - a meeting in the air. This is what the feast of trumpets is prophetically speaks of.

Among the messianic communities every feast of trumpets (known in Israel as Rosh HaShanah), there’s a series of shofar blasting that takes place in the meeting, and at the end of the meeting there’s a one great loud blast of the shofar (teruah hagadol), in which everybody that has a shofar will blast and hold it as long as they can. This is called the last Trump. Also in the ancient Jewish weddings, the bride groom would pay a dowry for his future bride, then he would go prepare a place for his bride. He would later come and steal her away as a thief in the night. No one knew the day nor the hour but the bridegrooms father. These are pictures and types of the feast of trumpets fulfilled at the catching away of the remnant bride of Christ.

Yom Kippur, the day of atonement, prophetically speaks of the days of Jacob’s trouble known also as the great tribulation. This will obviously be fulfilled during the seven year period known as the tribulation period - also called the days of Jacob’s trouble. Finally, the feast of tabernacles will be fulfilled when Jesus physically comes to the Earth to reign for 1,000 years.

So what Christians can learn from this feast of trumpets is that Jesus is coming as a thief in the night, and not everyone is gonna be ready. Just like the parable of the wise and foolish virgins in Matthew 25. All of them were virgins, but only half were ready when the Lord come. There’s gonna be a remnant bride that makes herself ready without spot or blemish, filled with extra oil, that will be ready when the Lord comes suddenly.

Trumpets is the one feast that in ancient times people had to be looking up, watching with anticipation for the crescent moon, which signaled the first of the month of Tishrei. The only way they really knew when the feast would begin, was by looking up and watching for that moment. In the same way, the Lord says as we see all these signs that we are seeing in these last days, the world is growing spiritually darker, we need to begin to look up because our redemption draws near.

This is a time for the remnant bride to hear a call to deeply consecrate our lives, and go deeper in prayer than we’ve ever been. We must make sure our garments are washed, we are filled with extra oil, we’re looking up, and we’re ready for the catching away of the remnant bride that will come as a suddenly. There won’t be time to get right with God. You better be right WHEN that event happens.

For those that are right with God and ready, this is a reward. There will be people that will miss this event. They called themselves Christians, but they didn’t really live a holy life, and they will be the foolish virgins that will have to endure the tribulation time. You can see in the book of revelation that many are martyred for Christ during that time and appear in heaven under the altar. Let’s be a part of this remnant bride ready to be caught away when the Lord comes as a thief in the night.” Pastor Scott

The Power of Water Immersion

Are you ready when He comes? Jesus warned us repeatedly to watch and pray -- because not everyone who calls themselves Christian will be prepared. The bride must make herself ready.

Water baptism is not a dead ritual. It is a powerful act of consecration. The same water that baptized Israel through the Red Sea, separated Israel from Egypt (their past), and drowned their pursuing enemies. In the same way, immersion cleanses us from the past and breaks the power of what has been chasing us into our future.

Hebrews 10:19-22 paints a clear picture -- entering the Holy of Holies requires hearts sprinkled by the blood of Jesus and bodies washed with pure water. God is preparing a remnant bride, filled with extra oil, lamp trimmed, watching for the sound of the shofar. Get ready. He is coming sooner than we think.

Here is the latest sermon from Pastor Scott!

Are you ready to go deeper in God? In a powerful message on consecration and preparation, Pastor reminded us that Jesus is coming soon -- and the question is whether we will be ready. Like the ten virgins in Matthew 25, the difference between those who were ready and those who were not came down to one thing: extra oil.

Water baptism is not a dead ritual. It is a powerful act of consecration that brings cleansing, deliverance, healing, and a separation from your past. The same water that baptized Israel through the Red Sea destroyed the enemies chasing them. That same power is available to you today.

God is preparing a bride. He is calling us to watch, pray, and consecrate our lives so that when the shofar sounds and the shout rings out, we are ready to meet Him in the air. Do not let religion or fear keep you from going deeper. Come hungry and let God do a deep work in you.
