This week Grand Knight Denny Arbour and Deputy Grand Knight Rick Fairfield of Gardiner Council 1299 delivered a check to Open Arms Pregnancy Center to support the life-giving work they are providing to the pregnant moms of Augusta and Central Maine. The proceeds were from the Gardiner Knights famous Chicken Pie Supper held in mid-March!

This comes as they are preparing to host their Annual Fundraising Banquet at the Augusta Civic Center in the next couple of weeks. We appreciate the great work that Natasha and the board are doing amazing work and we are here to fully support their mission of love! You guys ROCK!

St. Michael Parish will be having a Divine Mercy Celebration at St. Joseph Church in Gardiner on Sunday April 12th from 2:30-3:30pm. We will have Eucharistic Adoration, Confessions, reflections on Divine Mercy and St. Faustina, and the Divine Mercy Chaplet in song!

Please join us for this beautiful celebration highlighting our Lord’s great Mercy!!

The proceeds from a recent Gardiner Knights Chicken Pie Supper to the Augusta Emergency Warming Center. A tour of the Center showed us the amazing work done by South Parish Church Congregational Church under the direction of Julia and Rob!! What a blessing! We are happy to be part of it in this small way!!

Gardiner Knights were blessed to celebrate a Sacred Heart Holy Hour at St. Joseph Church on Thanksgiving Eve! Fr. Dass led the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Brother Tim Tyce led us in the readings and prayer! Catherine Durand and Brother Paul Dibden led us in music! It was beautiful experience for our faith community!!

The Augusta (334) and Gardiner (1299) Councils set up a booth at the St. Michael School Christmas Fair on November 22, 2025. We had great time and did some PR for both the Knights of Columbus Maine State Council and Relevant Radio! We provided a $50 GC to Hannaford for the vendor basket. Many booklets were handed out/taken from the Building the Domestic Church Kiosk!

In the last few weeks of October, St. Michael Parish Knights of Columbus and Social Justice Commission led a Toddler Clothes, Toys and Pull-Ups Collection Campaign for OpenArms Pregnancy Center. We were thrilled to deliver the results of that campaign to you at OpenArms recently! It was beautiful to see the smile on Director Natasha R.’s face and that of her son and volunteer! We were amazed at the outpouring of love and support for moms and their kiddos!
