Had a great time at our first Oscar Party. Lots of good food and drinks. Watched telecast on large screen in hall with 40 other movie fans. So appreciative of all the hard work of our members to make it happen.

Members of all ages participated in the Mochi Tsuki at the church this year; using a mallet and a granite usu to pound much of the moch. 50 pounds of rice was steamed and pounded. Then everyone was able to enjoy the freshly pounded mochi with kinako, daikon oroshi, shoyu or you can even enjoy it with natto.

Beginning January 2013, ABA Meetings will move to the 2nd Sunday of each month. Meetings will be held in the Cooling Room beginning after Sunday Social.

ABA will be opening up these meetings to anyone interested in attending. Announcements will be made during Sunday Services. So, get the word out.
