Just as God has called Apostles, Pastors, and Ministers, He has given a special calling to our Elders of the church.

As we celebrate the leaders who make up the South Bay pastorate, we also honor the dedicated students and interns who help keep the ministry moving forward!

This morning’s departmentalized Sunday School explored “The Role of Pastors,” strengthening the spirit of partnership within South Bay. The South Bay Praise and Worship Team led the congregation in joyful praises to Jesus, followed by the opening prayer led by Ptr. Harvey and Scripture reading by Bro. Eric Reyes.

The congregation was blessed as Sis. Allyssa Sison was endorsed as associate pastor and Elder Nita Grajo was welcomed into South Bay. Bro. Josh Campania then delivered the message, “A Heart for Heavenly Things,” encouraging everyone to invest in the things of God.

A “Full House” parody video kicked off the Staff Appreciation segment, celebrating each member of the South Bay staff. The entire pastorate, joined by Presbyter Marites Ferriol, shared a heartfelt rendition of “The Words I Would Say.”
The celebration concluded with gifts of appreciation from the pastorate and their respective areas, making this a meaningful morning of gratitude, encouragement, and recognition for those who faithfully serve.

Presbyter Marites Ferriol delivered the message, “The Wisdom in Waiting,” drawn from the parable of the ten virgins. Her message reminded the brethren to remain steadfast in their service and faithful in their walk with God as they anticipate the Second Coming of Christ.

The day of Sunday Services concluded with the Home Free Global Crusade in New Zealand. By God’s grace, two souls were added to the Book of Life, and four guests in attendance accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

To God be all the Glory!

All glory to God! This Sunday, the PMCC (4th Watch) of South Bay started this month of recognition with honor during our Pastors’ Appreciation Day!

To set the tone for the day, Elder Adora Rosario, Elder Lea Gabor, and Elder Ed Gabor taught each department on the topic of leadership. Flowing into worship, Brother Joshua Campania called the congregation before the South Bay Praise and Worship team led, including the first 4th watch rendition of King of Glory, a powerfully moving piece that brought many to tears! Blessed with the visitation of several of our pastors from the East Coast, Pastor Zierwin Zabala led the opening prayer. Retaking the stage, Brother Joshua Campania guided a reading of the Scriptures through Luke 12:35-44. And to be blessed by our second guest pastor, Pastor Faye Barrios delivered the message of giving. Even away from their congregation, these guest pastors’ zeal for all of God’s people was evident!

Moving into the special segment for the day, pastors were blessed with video testimonies, live interviews, and area gift presentations hosted by Elder Erika Marasigan, Elder Julie Balaoro, Elder Ed Gabor, and Sister Charisse Rosario. Sifting through the audience, every member had a story and testimony to the faithfulness of our pastorate! To conclude the segment, a rendition of God I’m Just Grateful was beautifully sung by the entire church. Members, elders, interns, and Bible students crowded the stage, a harmonious testament to the impact of the ministers of God.

After bringing members and pastorate alike to tears, Presbyter Marites Ferriol powerfully spoke the message “Dress for Success.” Through her sermon, Presbyter Thess gave helpful pointers to how we should be dressed as believers!

And worship didn’t end there, but later on members returned for our Seekers’ Service! Preached by Pastor Sygourney Grajo, she passionately dismantled every argument against church leadership.

Truly, in the 4th Watch, we give reverence to our shepherds. And so once again, the locale of South Bay is proud to be led by these faithful servants of God!

The South Bay Praise and Worship team introduced a new song to the congregation entitled King of Glory by Cece Winans. The song speaks of the declaration of God’s supreme majesty, sovereignty and worthiness of the praise of His people. Reflecting on the church’s invitation for the Lord of all to be in our presence, South Bay’s cries of praise filled the room as Sis. Dona Gonzales led the brethren in spiritual vigor lifting higher the name of the God we serve. Members of South Bay burst in tears by the moving of the Holy Spirit. The name of the Lord was glorified and let it be continued to be glorified as we wait for Christ’s return! To God be the Glory!

From her humble beginnings as an AMP intern to now our beloved head pastor, the PMCC (4th Watch) of South Bay celebrates our dear Sister Michaella Agag Sico's birthday!

With years of experience, training, and molding under your belt in the crown jewel of the U.S. District, you have not slowed down in your passion to serve! Truly, we cannot wait to see where God takes you next! For every second you have poured your love over this church, we are all the more strengthened. And so, once again, the locale of South Bay wishes you a happy birthday!
