Today our Metro Los Angeles Church family celebrates the appointment of 15 deacons—faithful servants who have already been living out this calling long before receiving a title.

This is not a new beginning but the continuation of years of Christ‑centered service that has strengthened our ministries and blessed our community.

“Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant.” — Matthew 20:26

We are so grateful and so blessed for each of these servant‑leaders and the example they continue to set.

We’re becoming a community where everything — every service, every group, every moment — is rooted in the Word and connected to real life.

“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” (Hebrews 10:24)

That’s our heartbeat for June.
Not events for the sake of events.
Not noise.
Not busyness.

But growth.
Love.
Purpose.
People.

If you’re looking for a place to grow deeper, love stronger, and walk out your faith with others — welcome home.

This is more than attending a church.
This is a movement.
A people who believe God still speaks, still moves, still transforms lives.

We’re becoming a community where everything — every service, every group, every moment — is rooted in the Word and connected to real life.

Got a sec?? What if the very thing you’re afraid to show is the thing that could set you free?

Last night at our women’s midweek service, we were reminded that real friendship isn’t polished — it’s honest, vulnerable, and beautifully human.

God never asked us to have it all together.
He simply invites us to walk with the One who does.

“Two are better than one… for if either of them falls, one can help the other up.” — Ecclesiastes 4:9–10

And if your heart has been nudging you to come — you’re invited. Whether it’s your first time, you don’t know a single person yet, or you’ve been away for a while and you’re thinking about coming back… there’s a place for you here.
Let’s start the journey together.

Got a sec? So what is Mother's Day all about...

Some love shapes us quietly, faithfully, and long before we ever notice, and Mother’s Day is a reminder of that kind of love.
Whether you’ve been in church for years or you’re just beginning to seek, this day reaches every heart.

In the early 1900s, Anna Jarvis began a movement to honor her own mother — a woman known for compassion, service, and unwavering strength. Jarvis believed a mother’s love was powerful enough to deserve national recognition. Her persistence led to Mother’s Day becoming an official holiday in 1914.

But today, we honor more than a holiday.
We honor every kind of mother:

• Biological mothers who carried life.
• Adoptive and foster mothers who chose love with open arms.
• Spiritual mothers who guide, mentor, and pray us through seasons.
• Grandmothers, aunties, and godmothers who step in with wisdom and warmth.
• Mothers who are grieving a child they loved deeply.
• Women who long to be mothers and carry that hope quietly.
• Mothers who have passed, whose love still echoes in our lives.
• Women who mother through kindness, compassion, and presence — even without the title.

Scripture reminds us:
“Her children arise and call her blessed.” — Proverbs 31:28
And truly, there is no blessing like the love of a mother — in all its forms.

Today, we honor the women who pour out strength, courage, and wisdom in ways the world doesn’t always see.
May we carry their love forward.
May we live out their lessons.
And may we never forget the power of a mother’s heart — however it shows up in our lives.

Happy Mother’s Day 💐✨

What a beautiful celebration ....

We are a ministry and fellowship that embraces the beauty of many cultures, and this May we’re stepping boldly into that calling.

MY IDENTITY IN CHRIST - CELEBRATING AANHPI HERITAGE
Asian American • Native Hawaiian • Pacific Islander

Today we had a special heritage service as we honor AANHPI cultures while keeping our focus on Jesus, the One who unites us as members of God’s family.

Our theme comes from Ephesians 2:19 (NLV):
“From now on you are not strangers and people who are not citizens. You are citizens together with those who belong to God. You belong in God’s family.”

Why this matters to the heart:

• Studies show that people are far more likely to feel God’s love when they see their own culture represented in worship.
• Many believers say they feel a deeper sense of belonging when their heritage is acknowledged and valued in the church family.
• Communities that embrace cultural diversity often experience stronger relationships, deeper empathy, and a greater sense of unity.
• When people feel seen and understood, they are more open to spiritual growth, healing, and connection.

These aren’t just statistics — they’re reminders that every culture carries a piece of God’s story.
This celebration is not just about heritage.
It is about identity.
It is about belonging.
It is about reflecting the kingdom of God, where every tribe and every tongue stands together as one.

Everyone is welcome. Everyone belongs.
May is going to be meaningful in ways that draw us closer to Christ and closer to one another.
