I [God]make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. i say, ‘My purpose will stand,
and I will do all that I please.’ [Isaiah 46:10]

What is God’s purpose? it is to introduce himself to as many people to Himself as possible. How does He do that? we know that He does that by the working of Jesus’s spirit (“no man comes to the Father except through Jesus. He is the way. i have often wondered how God worked out my life so that i came to know the Father. how did he get me here? in our community and church? how did he walk me through the pain of extreme neglect as a child into a place of healing and having the most incredible relationship with the Father? How does He work in our lives?. i am amazed that somehow, in someway he corrected my very twisted thinking about life and led me to himself
remember, he said, “My purpose will stand,
and I will do all that I please.’

God had and continues to have a plan for my and your life.). the Bible says that God CANNOT lie or change his plans for our lives. i’m sure we’ve all been lied to at some point in our lives. anyone can lie - we almost cant help it, but it is impossible for God to lie. you might say, oh you mean he chooses not to lie? no, i mean exactly what the scripture say, it is impossible for him to lie! why?? because, He is called the Truth. God doesnt do anything outside of His character. the Bible also quotes Him as saying, “i know the plans i have for you... plans to prosper you and not to harm you. plans to give you hope and a future. He has a plan for you - that you will prosper (not only financially, but in everyway possible. the above verse makes it clear that he sees your entire life - from beginning to end and from the end to the beginning. i answer my own question - how did he get me here? through the prophet Isaiah, i see that he has plans for me; in order for me to fulfill those plans, he moved me here and i’ve learned that he will not waste one millisecond of my frustrations, tears, circumstances or even sins. it all gets used for the fulfillment of his plans for me and for His glory.
He works within our circumstances (whether good or bad) in order to fulfill his purpose for you. He really does give us hope and a future. God bless you. see you in church🙏🏽😀😀.

King David, the second king in Israel known as the great songwriter/psalmist, questioned, why are people so angry with God and his plans? (psalm 2).

along with David, i wonder why are some people so offended when they hear about Jesus? Rather than shaking fists at God and his followers and demanding an answer to “if God is so loving,why...? while that may be a reasonable question(which i will attempt to address in the future), lets not forget the most quoted verse,”God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son.” ah theres an offense. if on one hand we focus on the bad things he allows to happen and on the other ignore that most quoted verse, we are only getting a smidgen of the story, the ending of which is recognized the world over as Easter, or Resurrection Day. from Washington DC to our community, Easter is celebrated in a variety of ways - church, egg hunts, family dinner, Easter isn’t really Easter, though, until we acknowledge the fact that, yes, Jesus was crucified, yes, he died, yes, he rose from the grave, and yes, he loves us so much that he paid our debt to God’s society. theres another offense-yes, we are all sinners - none of us need to be told we are sinners, we know that. whats so offensive about Jesus’s love for us? we all need to know we are loved and it seems to me, to ignore what he’s offering us leaves us feeling that much too familiar feeling of aloneness and rejection. if there is a way to feel wholly loved, then wouldnt you embrace that, even if God used a man named Jesus to accomplish that goal? where is the offense in that?
in three spoken words, perhaps yelled from the cross, Jesus made the way for us to recieve all the love that our Father has for us. “it is finished!” God made a way for us to be with him and experience his love - it is through Jesus’s death and resurrection. (happy Resurrection Day). celebrate well.
i’ll see you in church!
