Praying for all those in the path of Hurricane Melissa.

Gracious and merciful God,
We lift before you the people of Jamaica and Cuba, enduring the devastation of this hurricane. Be a shelter for those who have lost homes, a comfort for those who grieve, and a strength for those working tirelessly to rebuild.

We pray for families separated by the storm, for the elderly and vulnerable, and for communities still without power, water, or safety. May your presence surround them like calm after the wind—steady, healing, and sure.

Bless the hands of those offering rescue and relief in both islands—neighbors, churches, and first responders. Guide leaders and nations to act with compassion and urgency, ensuring that aid reaches all who need it.

As the waters recede, may your justice roll down like rivers of renewal, and may your love flow through every act of care and courage. In Christ, who stills the storm and brings peace to every shore, we pray. Amen.
