We support ministry to, with, and by young adults, seeking to draw them to a responsible participation in the life, mission and work of our Catholic Faith Community. Our comprehensive and holistic approach fosters the total personal and spiritual growth of leaders who support the young adults in our diocese. WHO WE SERVE
Young adults, college age

d & 20-somethings, young adult coordinators, campus ministers, volunteers, & other leaders supporting young adult ministries

WHAT WE PROVIDE
- Pastoral Support and assistance to all who minister to young adults in our Catholic Institutions
- Pastoral Formation for youth ministers through monthly meetings and in-service training and National Certification opportunities
- Advocacy for the young adults of our communities and those who minister to them
- Spiritual Formation by encouraging strong Catholic Identity, prayer and reflection

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE CHURCH!

For 50 days after Jesus’s resurrection, the apostles lived in the tension of Easter joy AND uncertainty about Jesus’s death. In the time between Easter and Pentecost, the apostles were afraid but Jesus appeared to them, reminding them that he would send the Holy Spirt

After Jesus ascension, the apostles returned to the upper room waiting, praying, and hiding until the Holy Spirit descended upon them at Pentecost. Those same apostles who hid in fear were transformed, and went on from the upper room to preach the Gospel to all the nations

Today, we celebrate Pentecost as the birthday of the Church and remember that we, too, have access to the same Spirit that transformed the apostles

IN August 2027, millions of young Catholics from across the globe will flood the streets of Seoul for an unforgettable week of faith, prayer, culture, pilgrimage, and celebration with the Pope…and Orange Diocese will be there.

the Easter season is 50 DAYS LONG and it lasts until Pentecost on May 24 so here’s your reminder to LIVE LIKE YOU STILL HAVE SOME EASTER LEFT IN YA 🤠

Huge announcement! Orange Diocese is going to World Youth Day 2028 in Seoul, Korea!

World Youth Day is a global gathering of young Catholics from all over the world that takes place every 2-3 years. At WYD, the young Church is united in faith, prayer and encounter with the Pope. It’s an EPIC week long event full of pilgrimages, cultural exchange, worshipping in the streets of Seoul, and unity with the universal Church

In August 2028, our Diocese will gather alongside the Pope and MILLIONS of young Catholics in Seoul, Korea for WYD and you’re invited to join us.

If you’re interested or want to learn more, we’ll be hosting an information night on May 17 at 7pm in the Pastoral Center on Christ Cathedral Campus. You can register for the meeting, learn more about WYD, and read our full itinerary, pricing, and travel details through the link in our bio
