Regarding Harry Cypher who served as Principal of St. Paul's Lutheran School Garden Grove, CA from 1995 to 1997.

It is with a heavy heart that I inform all of you wonderful friends & family that our beloved Harry went to ge with his Heavenly Father this morning at 5:11. He fought a good fight and it allowed us some extra time together for which I am truly grateful. May he find peace in his Father’s loving arms and we all find comfort knowing how he loved all of us & we lived him, a truly remarkable man of God and family.

We welcomed Samuel Tai Chen into the family of God through Baptism in the name of the Triune God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit on Sunday May 7. Samuel is the son of St. Paul's 1998 alumni Victor Chen and Tiffany Tu. Praise be to God for his goodness, grace and mighty work of salvation.

Former principal of St Paul’s GG, Harry Cypher, was in a terrible accident on February 8. He was struck by a truck while crossing the street to get to his car. He has 17 broken ribs, kidney & lung damage. Surgery repaired his right side ribs & the left side is healing. He is still on a breathing machine & dialysis. He was in ICU at UCI for four weeks getting excellent care. Last week he was moved to Kindred Hospital in Brea, a long term acute care facility. Pastor Vu has been a prominent part of prayer and healing visiting & cheering us up! We have known Pastor Vu for 28 years & we appreciate his friendship & council throughout the years. Please pray for our 3-generation family & especially Harry’s continuing battle! We firmly believe in the power of prayer & it has gotten us this far!!

Fred Bruggeman entered God's eternal rest on Wednesday September 21, 2022.

The Memorial Service for Fred Bruggeman will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday October 8, 2022 at 12876 Newhope Street, Garden Grove, Ca 92840. Parking in the guest parking area will be adjacent to the club house.

Fred was a faithful member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Garden Grove. He was known in his neighborhood as "Farmer Fred" since he generously shared the avocados and oranges from his homestead with the neighbors and church friends. He volunteered regularly to maintain and upkeep St. Paul's Church and School facility. Fred worshiped his God faithfully and studied God's Word deligiently every Sunday at church. Fred will be missed deeply by his family, church friends and neighbors. Fred is survived by his niece Katie and nephew Brian.

God poured out His Baptismal grace and welcomed Elizabeth Anne Fischer into His family today.

Through Baptism, God has added Elizabeth Anne Fischer to His Own family of people that she too might join in declaring the wonderful deeds of our Savior, who has called us out of darkness into His marvelouslight.

We welcome you into the Lord’s family. We receive you as a fellow member of the Body of Christ, a child of the same Heavenly Father, to work with us in His Kingdom. Amen.
