VBS is coming up, and we’d love your help making it happen.

This year, we’re partnering with Every Heart for Rainforest Falls VBS — a week focused on reaching kids right here in Garden City with the good news of who God is.

We need volunteers to help with decorations, setup and teardown, hanging posters around Garden City, leading stations, registration, snacks, and creating a welcoming space for kids from our church and neighborhood.

VBS is June 22–25 from 9am–12pm, and we’d love to serve together.

Tomorrow is Family Sunday!

Kids ages 5 and up will be joining us in the sanctuary as we worship, learn, and take communion together as one church family. Childcare will still be available for children 4 and under.

If you’re bringing kids into the service, be sure to grab one of the activity packets the VB Kids Team has prepared, available at the sanctuary doors.

We love these Sundays as generations gather together to encounter Jesus, learn from one another, and celebrate what God is doing in our church family. We’ll see you tomorrow at 10am!

Peter swore he’d die for Jesus. Then stood by a fire and told a servant girl he didn’t even know the man.

He went back to his boat after that.

But Jesus showed up on the shore. Made breakfast. Asked him the same question three times — once for each denial. Not to shame him. To restore him.

The risen Christ does not discard broken people. He restores and commissions them.

That’s the kind of Jesus worth following.

The bookstore is clearing out, and that means deals. 📚

Right now: $10 bundles — four books, one great price. And coming next week: Pastor Mike’s mystery bags. He’s personally packing $5 bags of books from the shelves. He promises at least one good pick per bag. The rest is a surprise.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month — and this year, we’re not letting it pass quietly.

The Restoration Project is a new monthly gathering for women 18 and older who are walking a road of healing. It’s not a therapy group. It’s a spiritual community — Scripture, prayer, art, and space to breathe. You can share. You can sit in silence. You can just show up.

The first gathering is Thursday, April 23rd at 7 p.m. in the art studio.

If you’ve been carrying something alone, you don’t have to anymore. To learn more or reach out privately before coming, email [email protected].

Almost 50 people went under the water on Sunday morning.

That’s not a number we threw on a slide. That’s 50 people saying: something is different now.
Something is new.

We cried. We cheered. We held each other.

This is what Easter looks like when it’s not just a story from 2,000 years ago—but something still happening, right here, in this room, with these people.

If you’re curious what we’re about, this is it.

Today we stop and remember.

Stations of Encounter is open 8am–2pm — a self-guided space to walk slowly through Jesus’ final hours. Come when you can. Stay as long as you need.
Then tonight at 7pm, we gather for Good Friday.

Both are open to everyone. No experience required — just come as you are.
