🙏 Pray for our missionaries of the week, Chris and Rhonda Richard.

What started as a simple English club in Buenos Aires, Argentina, quickly became something more. IMB missionaries Chris and Rhonda Richard, sent from Hebron Baptist Church in Kentucky, taught language and culture—but also shared the gospel using the “Three Circles” evangelism tool from the North American Mission Board (NAMB).

At first, the English club included mostly local believers, some of whom struggled to clearly explain the gospel. Rhonda said, “We taught them how to share the gospel and give a 15-second testimony. They couldn’t believe how easy it was.”

Soon members began inviting nonbelieving friends and family. One man told Chris he’s only interested in Jesus because a stranger opened his home to other strangers. That act of hospitality stirred something in him.

Now a Bible study has formed out of the English club, and the Richards pray it would one day become a church plant in their neighborhood.

PRAY the Bible study would grow into a vibrant, gospel-centered church in Buenos Aires. Also pray for Rhonda on her upcoming birthday, August 29th.

Please pass this along to our Sunday school class and anyone else who may want to know about the graveside service tomorrow for Jack. It would be helpful for the police es**rt to know about how many vehicles may attend.

1:00 pm -Leave Strickland’s driving to Forest Lawn Cemetery
2:00 pm - Graveside service

Monday Moment provides practical takeaways from Sunday’s message to help you walk with Christ faithfully throughout the week ahead.

Yesterday we were reminded from Colossians 1:21–29 that the gospel does not leave us where it found us.

Paul says we were once alienated from God, but now we have been reconciled through Christ. Because of Jesus, we are not defined by our past or failures We are made new, brought near and presented holy before Him.

That is not just good news for Sunday. That is also strength for Monday.

And this same gospel gives us a calling. Paul says he labors to proclaim Christ, warning and teaching everyone, so that believers may become mature in Christ. In other words, grace does not only rescue us - grace grows us.

So as this week begins, remember:
- You are reconciled.
- You are not who you used to be.
- You can continue in the faith.
- You have a calling to carry out.
- Christ is at work in you.

The hope of glory is not just something waiting for you one day. Christ is in you today!
