Monday Moment provides practical takeaways from Sunday’s message to help you walk with Christ faithfully throughout the week ahead.

Yesterday we were reminded from Colossians 1:18–20 that Jesus is not meant to be added to the edges of life. When Christ has first place, everything else finds its proper place.

Paul says Christ is the head of the Church, the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, and the One through whom God is reconciling all things to Himself. At the cross, Jesus made peace “by the blood of His cross.”

That means we begin this week under the rule of a risen Savior and the peace of a crucified King.

So today, let Christ lead your thoughts.
Let Christ shape your words.
Let Christ steady your emotions.
Let Christ reorder your priorities.
Let Christ have first place.

The One who is supreme over all creation is also sufficient for your ordinary Monday.

Monday Moment provides practical takeaways from Sunday’s message to help you walk with Christ faithfully throughout the week ahead.

Yesterday we were reminded from Colossians 1 that Jesus is not merely part of our faith - He is supreme over everything. Paul says Christ is “the image of the invisible God,” the One through whom all things were created, and the One who holds all things together.

That means your Monday is not outside His rule. Your schedule, your responsibilities, your burdens, your family, your work, your worries - all of it exists under the authority and care of Jesus.

So today, don’t begin the week as if everything depends on you. The One who holds the universe together can hold you together too.

When life feels scattered, Christ is before all things.
When your mind feels crowded, Christ is above all things.
When your strength feels small, Christ holds all things together.

Because Christ holds all things together, I do not have to fall apart.
