“Of course, the story [John 2:1-11] isn’t about w**e. It’s about hope—hope that doesn’t just help us get by – but hope that allows us to thrive: lifting us when the weight of the world feels unbearable. Enlivening us, when we fear the end is near.
Dr. King described this as ‘the buoyancy of hope.’ Not a shallow optimism, but something substantial, rooted in God who can transform despair into joy and scarcity into abundance.” Read the full post on our Substack at spiritualimagination.substack.com

If there’s one part of our community’s Rule of Life that surprises people the most, it’s probably this one: Adopt the Twelve Steps as a method of conversion of life, specifically by working the steps in a small group. It doesn’t surprise people who have worked the steps, of course—they know the spiritual value of the practice. But most people assume the steps are only for people with serious addictions. What do the steps have to do with living a contemplative life? Learn more and register for this community event at the link in our bio.

“Both J. Dilla and Brother Lawrence found extraordinary depth in the ordinary, crafting something unique and imaginative from their everyday lives. I began to ponder: Do I seek God in the mundane? Do I recognize my daily life as a sacred space where the Divine can work within me to create something inventive? Or do I primarily look for extraordinary experiences to fulfill that purpose?” Read the full article by Guesnerth Josue Perea by visiting our website.

“GARDEN CITY, N.Y. — The Community of the Incarnation, one of the fastest-growing religious communities in the Anglican Communion, celebrated the solemn vows of its first cohort of new monastics, marking a significant milestone in its growth and ministry. Founded at the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Garden City, New York, the Community now serves people across North America and beyond, bringing a fresh expression of monasticism to today’s world.”
