🌱🔎🔦 Our Summit Sunday School Leaders and Media team have been busy working together to debut: Summit Kids! At this time, three distinct age-based classrooms have been named and branded; read below to hear about these classes that strive to love, nurture, and grow the next generation of Christ Followers!

Summit Church Garden City Sunday School leaders provide teaching and care during the Sunday morning service, after worship,
for the following age groups:
sprouts nursery: 0 - 2 years old
seekers class: 3 - 5 years old
explorers class: 6 - 10 years

🌱Summit Sprouts Mission Statement: Summit Sprouts exists to care for the youngest members of our congregation and ensure their well-being while allowing parents to fully participate in worship services. We offer a safe, clean, and nurturing environment for babies and toddlers providing gentle activities and interactions suitable for their developmental stages. While providing physical and emotional care, our nursery staff and volunteers always aim to incorporate opportunities for spiritual growth in fun and age-appropriate ways. We are abundantly blessed by the opportunity
to serve the members and visitors of Summit Church in this capacity.

🔎🔦Summit Seekers and Explorers Mission Statement:
We aim to lovingly serve and teach the kids of Summit Church the truth, beauty, and hope of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. We will do this by using our Answers in Genesis curriculum and our lifestyle example, so that they may have a positive and memorable experience of church and that it would encourage
their desire to know God personally all the days of their lives.

At Summit we are entering February with a theme we’ve been sharing with our church family since the new year, and hope to have it infused in us throughout 2025:

“More of Jesus
Less of me
More like Christ.”

February is also the month we pick to intentionally fast & pray together as a church. It’s been a tremendous growth opportunity to link arms as a body of believers and dive deep into our prayer lives & the spiritual discipline of fasting. We set our hearts on Him, and look forward to this concentrated time to commune with our Savior. May we in turn take on more of His likeness!
