We are so excited for our FLASH kickoff event, a Bounce House Palooza. We will have many inflatables throughout the building and invite you, your friends, and family to join us for donuts and fun. No RSVP is needed; just show up ready to have fun.

We are so grateful to Bible Christian Church for their generosity towards MomCo that allows us to keep our yearly dues to just $50 for the entire year! Your dues help cover MomCo International fees, meeting supplies, craft supplies, speaker fees, childcare, your t-shirt, and so much more. Dues are payable at registration and will be accepted in either cash or check made payable to Bible Christian Church. Don’t let the cost of MomCo keep you from joining the fun, scholarships are available upon request.

The Governing Body has designated September 2026 as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in Garden City!

Childhood cancer profoundly impacts children and families across our community and nation, creating emotional, physical, and financial challenges that no family should face alone. Childhood Cancer Awareness Month is an opportunity to honor the courage and resilience of children battling cancer, recognize survivors, remember those we have lost, and support the families, healthcare professionals, researchers, and advocates working to improve outcomes for every child.

The City of Garden City is proud to recognize Griffin’s March for More Foundation for its efforts to unite our community in raising awareness, supporting pediatric cancer research, and inspiring hope for children and families affected by childhood cancer. Please join us in showing our support for children and families facing childhood cancer and in recognizing the incredible generosity, compassion, and dedication of our community.

🌟 Introducing Parents as Teachers at RCDC! 🌟

We're excited to share more about our Parents as Teachers (PAT) program, made possible through the Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) grant.

Parents are a child's first and most important teacher, and our goal is to support families from pregnancy through the early years with encouragement, education, and resources every step of the way.

Through our voluntary home visiting program, families can receive:

🧸 Child development activities
📋 Developmental screenings
❤️ Family Activities
🤝 Connections to community resources

Our approach is strengths-based and relationship-focused. We believe every family has unique strengths, and we're here to help build on those strengths while celebrating each child's growth and development.

At Russell Child Development Center, we're committed to helping children thrive by supporting the people who know and love them best—their families.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be sharing more about our Parents as Teachers program, helpful parenting tips, child development information, and ways we're working alongside families in our community.
