When gas climbs over $4 a gallon, the pain doesn’t stop at the pump.
Every truck delivering groceries, every farmer harvesting produce, every warehouse, delivery van, and shipment costs more to operate. Those higher fuel costs get built into almost everything we buy, food, medicine, diapers, rent, and basic household necessities.
For neighbors already stretching every dollar, $4.07 gas can mean impossible choices:

Rising fuel prices don’t just impact transportation. They make everyday life more expensive for everyone, especially families already struggling to make ends meet.
That’s why community support matters now more than ever.

Join us for groceries from the Food Pantry, enjoy a hot meal at Community Lunch, and stay for a free self defense class in the Fellowship Hall from 1:30-2:30.

Come for one thing or stay for all three!

STOP SCROLLING… and take a good look at this incredibly boring picture of… doors. Yep. Doors. Riveting stuff.

But here’s the thing—these weren’t always this calm and uneventful. These doors used to pop open, had missing k***s, exposed screws, and featured just enough rough edges to turn a simple trip through the pantry into an unexpected obstacle course (bonus points if you snagged a sleeve or hip-checked one with a cart).

In a space where we’re moving pallets, carts, and people all day long, “boring” is actually the goal. Safe. Solid. Predictable. No surprises.

Huge thanks to our superstar volunteers, Paul and Michael, who quietly turned chaos into… this. Beautifully boring, exactly-how-it-should-be doors.
