Registration for the 2027 Upward Season is OPEN!

Players of any skill level within grades 1-6 are encouraged to participate. First and foremost, we are a developmental league aiming to share Jesus' love with those around us while sharpening our skills and teamwork, enjoying the game of basketball.

On Saturday August 15th we held our Third annual Smokey Servants Cook Off. Participants began smoking their entries on site at the church Friday night and cooked through the night to have their entries ready for the judging at 5pm Saturday.

After much anticipation and "joyful bantering" the 2026 Smokey Servants Cook Off Champion was crowned.

The winning entry was cooked by Jase McCarter and Tanner Wise who entered BBQ Chicken.
Doug Cook placed second with his entry of Stuffed Pork Loin
Associate Pastor BJ Wise placed third with his entry of Brisket accompanied by smoking hot Jalapeño Poppers.

Thanks to all of the Contestants for participating. Thanks to the Judges for showing up hungry. A special thanks to the Miller family for their efforts in coordinating the event.

Each lady is asked to bring one vase/mason jar and one dozen stems of a single type of flower to create beautiful arrangements to deliver to the shut-ins in our church family. RSVP on church website by 8/19.
