DAY 2 — GOD IS WORKING IN THE CHAOS

Scripture
Romans 8:28
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good.”
This verse doesn't say that everything is good.
Some things that happen in life are painful.
Some things are heartbreaking.
Some things are evil.
Paul isn't telling us to pretend that everything is okay.
He is telling us something much greater:
God is working through it.
That difficult season you're walking through isn't outside of God's reach.
That unanswered prayer isn't outside of His knowledge.
That disappointment isn't outside of His sovereignty.
God is not wasting your pain.
We may not see what God is doing today. We may not understand why He allowed something to happen. But our hope isn't based on understanding everything.
Our hope is based on trusting the One who does.
Sometimes we want God to explain the chaos.
But sometimes God simply reminds us that He is with us in it.
And because He is with us, we can trust Him.

Reflect
Is there a situation in your life that you are struggling to understand?

Instead of asking only, “Why is this happening?” ask, “God, how can I trust You in this?”

Prayer
Lord, I don't understand everything You are doing. But I know You are good, and I know You are working. Help me trust You even when I cannot see the outcome. Amen.
Today’s Truth
I don't have to understand the chaos to trust God in the chaos.

DAY 1 — WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY

Scripture
Romans 8:26
“Likewise the Spirit helps us in our weakness.”
There are moments in life when we simply don't know what to pray.
Sometimes the circumstances are so overwhelming that we can't find the right words. Sometimes all we can say is, “God, I don't understand. I don't know what to do. I need You.”
And Paul tells us that in those moments, the Holy Spirit helps us.
Think about that. When you are weak, God doesn't walk away from you. He doesn't expect you to have everything figured out.
He helps you.
The Holy Spirit intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. He takes the things we cannot express and brings them before the Father.
You may not know what tomorrow holds.
You may not know how your situation will work out.
But you can know this:
You are not alone.
The God who saved you has given you His Spirit to live within you.
Just like a warm blanket doesn't remove the cold but brings comfort in the middle of it, the presence of God doesn't always remove the chaos immediately—but His presence gives us comfort in the chaos.

Reflect

What is something you're carrying today that you don't even know how to put into words?

Give it to God.

Prayer
Father, thank You for giving me Your Holy Spirit. When I am weak and don't know what to say, remind me that You already know my heart. Help me rest in Your presence today. Amen.
Today’s Truth
I may not have the words, but God knows my heart.
