What do you do for a living?

It’s one of the first questions we ask when we meet someone - and for good reason. Our work can shape our identity, our time, our relationships, and even how we understand our purpose.

But work is more than just a paycheck.

In the Bible, before sin ever enters the story, God gives humanity work. Because humans are created in the image of God, and God works and rests, work is part of God’s good design for what it means to be human.

So what does that mean for your work?

This Saturday, we’re beginning a new series exploring human work; what the Bible says about why we work, how work shapes us and contributes to human flourishing, but most importantly, what the Bible says about resting from our work.
