Today, we pause to honor the hard work, dedication, sacrifice, and contributions of workers everywhere. Whether you serve in the classroom, hospital, office, construction site, community, church, or wherever God has planted you—your labor matters! 🙌🏾

What a way to KICK OFF 33 YEARS! 🙌🏾💜💛

Macedonia Galveston was truly blessed as Rev. Donnell A. Johnson, Sr. helped us kickstart the 33rd Pastoral Jubilee Celebration honoring our beloved Pastor, Rev. A. Wilford Colbert!

Rev. Johnson came with a powerful Word from Acts 28:1–6 — “SHAKE IT OFF!” 🔥 And what a Word it was! He reminded us that after everything we’ve survived, endured, and overcome, there are some things we simply have to SHAKE OFF and keep moving in what God has called us to do!

Thank you, Rev. Johnson, for allowing God to use you to set the tone for an entire month of celebration. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to begin honoring 33 years of faithful pastoral leadership, service, sacrifice, and love.

And Pastor Colbert… Jubilee has officially begun! 🎉

What a powerful way to begin our 33rd Pastoral Jubilee Celebration at Macedonia Galveston! 💜💛

This morning, we were tremendously blessed by Pastor’s Pleasure, in the person of Pastor D. A. Johnson, Sr. He came with a mighty Word from Acts 28:1–6:

“SHAKE IT OFF!” 🙌🏾🔥

Some things weren’t sent to stop you, they came to show you what God has already put inside of you! What tried to attach itself to you doesn’t have permission to determine your destiny. SHAKE IT OFF and keep moving! 🐍🔥

Pastor Johnson, thank you for allowing God to use you to bless our Pastor, our church family, and everyone in the house!

And Macedonia… JUBILEE HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN! 🎉 We’re celebrating 33 years of faithful pastoral leadership, preaching, teaching, serving, and shepherding by our beloved Pastor A. Wilford Colbert!

Join us for the First Sunday of our Pastoral 33rd Jubilee as we honor and celebrate Pastor A. Wilford Colbert for 33 years of faithful pastoral leadership, service, sacrifice, and ministry! 🙌🏾⛪

This special worship experience will also include the sacred observance of Baptism & Holy Communion as we celebrate what God has done and give Him glory for His continued faithfulness!

We are blessed to welcome our Guest Celebrant, Reverend D. Andre Johnson, Sr. 🎙️🔥

And the celebration is EXTRA special because we’re also wishing Rev. D.
