Sinful humans need God but they choose earthly leaders. They forfeit their personal responsibility to follow God and give their freedom away to bad leaders so they can “fight [their] battles.” When a nation rejects God, he gives them the leaders they want, which leads to more pain and misery.

Prayer Warriors please lift up a hedge of protection and prayers of healing for Carol Walker Woodward’s son Shane suffering with Covid pneumonia. Additionally Carol requests prayer for herself. Carol has always been a member of our church family here at Lighthouse Galveston. Please unite in this prayer request for we know prayer changes things. “The fervent prayers of a righteous man availeth much”.

Good afternoon prayer warriors I just received this message from Jimmy and Rose Ann Hill. Please pray:

Pastor Ernesto, we just talked to our son, John and he has been diagnosed with esophagal cancer. He has a small growth in the lower esophagus. He is to have a CT next Thursday to determine the stage and treatment options. Please alert our prayer warriors to keep him and his family in their prayers. Thanks, Jim and Rosie
