The past two days have been hard, Cinco’s still on track and doing as expected.

I will have to personally say his strength to persevere through the challenges with medication and his levels is amazing. Today especially, he wasn’t going to walk and it has been a tough one but he still put a mile walk in. ❤️

Keep fighting bubba, they’re so many fighting right beside you.

Happy Memorial Day❤️

Cinco has already walked 2 miles!
His platelet count has gone back to 2, and a few of the others have gone back up as well. The fever has subsided and haven’t had to really worry about it. Over all he’s still on track and starting the day off on a good note. 🤩🖐🏼🧡

Day 3 Post Transplant Update

As expected his numbers have dropped significantly, and is officially neutropenic. He received platelets today due to his counts and he’s also been right on the edge of a fever and as of his last vital check he has formed one. They will be running a few test this evening just to make sure he’s not fighting any infections. This morning his team did say that he’s right on track (actually above average) and that this is all to be expected. He is fighting hard and in good spirits, despite the discomfort he is in.

Day 2 post Stem Cells🤩

So far he’s shown great strength and he’s full of determination! He walked 6 miles yesterday, and as of today he’s walked 2 already. As far as his levels they’re staying steady and he’s only getting potassium (on top of all of his needed medication).
They have told us the earliest someone has gotten out of the hospital for the same treatment is 12 days.. and Cinco has set a goal for himself that he wants to be out of here by then! 🧡🖐🏼

Good evening everyone, I know it’s been a while since we have posted!

I’d like to start by saying how crazy it is that in June 7th,2021 we originally found out Cinco was diagnosed with Leukemia and on June 11th he started his very first round of chemo. It’s crazy to think we are nearing a year of treatment. Now we are nearing Stem Cell Transplant time.. Since being at MD Anderson he has had three rounds of Chemotherapy and has two more to go until his transplant. With two minor hiccups that put him in the hospital along the way that he’s overcome. This morning he had his port put in. As of now say zero for transplant will be May 24th, this next phase of treatment is said to be the hardest he’s faced yet! We can’t thank those enough that continue to pray and follow Cinco’s fight with us! Please keep the prayers coming for strength as we are preparing for the next step.

Merry Christmas From the Phillips Children!

I just wanted to give a quick update on Cinco, since we haven't posted in a while due to simply enjoying having him home and healthy. Cinco is still considered in remission and attends doctors appointments regularly to track his health. We are looking at the first of the year he will be with MD Anderson hopefully after we get the last few rounds of paperwork done that are needed. We are very blessed to be able to have him at home for the holiday's and that he is healthy. I pray that every has a safe and healthy holidays. As we find out any information about MD Anderson I will be posting to let y'all know, I can't being to explain how much each and everyone of you have touched our lives this past year as we have faced this and showing Cinco that he is not alone on this journey.

We truly can’t thank everyone enough for all of the support!

Update on Cinco, he is home and doing well. As of right now he is considered in remission. The next step is to get in contact with doctors at MD Anderson to start his case and see what we need to do next.
