Gracious and loving God, we thank you for the gift of our priests.
Through them, we experience your presence in the sacraments.

Help our priests to be strong in their vocation.
Set their souls on fire with love for your people.

Grant them the wisdom, understanding, and strength they need to follow in the footsteps of Jesus.
Inspire them with the vision of your Kingdom.

Give them the words they need to spread the Gospel.
Allow them to experience joy in their ministry.

Help them to become instruments of your divine grace.

We ask this through Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns as our Eternal Priest.

Amen.

This weekend, our priests are traveling to Convocation. This special time of brotherhood allows them to step away from the parish's busy day-to-day life and take time to be renewed physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

The Sacred Heart of Jesus is the source of a priest's strength, mercy, and love. It is in Christ's Heart that our priests find refuge, encouragement, and the grace to continue serving God's people with generosity and fidelity.

Please join us in praying for our priests—giving thanks for their daily sacrifices and ministry and asking the Lord to make this Convocation a time of true rest, restoration, and renewal.

May the Sacred Heart of Jesus draw them closer to Himself and fill them with the peace and strength they need to shepherd His flock.
