It’s the day after Christmas, and all are still home,
Video games are all playing and all worship their phones.
Lives are unchanged by stories of shepherds and a baby just born,
All is forgotten this day-after morn.
Bibles lay closed- put aside till next year,
Joy and peace are no longer the gifts we hold dear.
But wonder of wonders, all through the night,
A seed has been planted that brings us great light.
For those who can see and those who can hear,
Find out that the God who loves us wants to draw near.
He comes to us now, in our heart of hearts,
And that wonderful love to us He imparts.
“For God so loved the world (and everyone in it) that He gave His one and only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him, shall not perish, but have life everlasting.”

Later this month the secularists among us celebrate what they call Halloween. Lest we forget- this day was called All Hallowed’s Eve for centuries-the eve before All Saints Day on November 1, a day to celebrate all those who have gone on to be with Yeshua (Jesus) forever. Remember that when you are trying to desensitize the young ones to the evil that wages war against the ways of God by thinking little witches and demons look cute.
