Tom Huening is one of twelve children in a Catholic-indoctrinated Midwestern family. Tom’s been a TWA pilot, lawyer, CPA, real estate investor and spent 35 years in local politics. ntial Good Samaritan, The Authorized Biography of John Joseph Kelly, is the story of John Kelly, boys’ high school teacher for fifteen years and Catholic priest for twenty-five, chafed under a Church bureaucracy. He felt his Church was more interested in dogma and damnation, internal politics and processions than in saving derelicts. John is known and loved in the San Francisco Bay area and his work with troubled youth is legendary. John's passion and career have been helping others, and this book is Tom's wish that more people learn of John's work, and hopefully continue the struggle.
