What a memorable Sunday! Sarah has faithfully attended and served Awaken Community Church from the outset, but she felt a calling in her heart to share the hope of the Gospel in another country. Our job as the church is not just to gather but also to send, and we celebrated Sarah saying yes to God’s calling, as she will work with children in El Salvador! While we will miss seeing Sarah weekly at services and events, we are joyful to support her work in El Salvador! What a way to glorify God and grow His Kingdom!

While we’ll miss her, we’re so proud of her willingness to step into this calling with courage and faith. Julia, thank you for your servant’s heart and for being part of the Awaken family. Know that wherever this journey takes you, you’re covered in prayer and always have a church family cheering you on.

Go boldly. Serve faithfully. God goes before you. ❤️
