WHAT GREAT NEWS!! Sisters in Service collected 10.5 large garbage bags of crushed cans and took them to the recycler! We had 99 pounds and received $76.25 in return!! The Hilliard Special Olympics will be happy I’m sure:). A very special THANK YOU goes out to Susan Welling who collected a huge amount of cans from a neighbor on trash day! She got most of the cans and we couldn’t thank her enough!!

Dear Sisters in Zion,
On Monday, September 21st, from 3:30-6:00 p.m., we are celebrating the service, goodness, and influence of our dear Sister Kathleen Smith, former matron of the Columbus Ohio Temple. It will also be a time of reminiscing, nostalgia, and storytelling. The event will be in the Primary Room of the Gateway Building, just across the drive from the temple.
Please enter by the back door. The Primary Room is on the NE corner, to your left as you enter the building. Husbands are welcome to come also.
Alas, Brother and Sister Smith are moving to Idaho Falls in October. They will be sorely missed.
We acknowledge that the day, time, and distance may not work for you. If so, and if you want to compose a remembrance, please do so and send it to Abby Priedeman, [email protected], no later than Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
Thank you for your consideration. We look forward either to seeing you on the 21st and/or to receiving your remembrances no later than September 30th
