✍️ THE COVENANT OF THE "BLANK CHECK" 📜✨

What if the Creator of the universe handed you a signed, blank check and whispered: “Fill in the amount. Whatever you need, I’ve got you covered”?

It sounds too good to be true, doesn't it? But thousands of years ago, in the middle of a burning desert, God did exactly that.

When a terrified, stuttering Moses asked for God’s name, God didn’t give him a normal name. He gave him a promise:

🔥 "And God said to Moses, 'I AM WHO I AM.' And He said, 'Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, "I AM has sent me to you."'" - Exodus 3:14 (NKJV)

In Hebrew, this is Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh- literally translated as, "I Will Be What I Will Be." This is what theologians call the "Blank Check" of the Covenant.

Think about it: God didn't define Himself by a single attribute because a single attribute couldn't possibly hold Him. Instead, He left the sentence open-ended. He told Moses, and He is telling you today:

“Whatever you are facing, I AM the answer to it. You write down the need, and I will fill in the blank.”

🩺 Are you broken, sick, or exhausted? He says: "I AM your healing." 👉 "For I am the Lord who heals you." - Exodus 15:26 (NKJV)

💸 Are you stressed about bills, your job, or your family's future? He says: "I AM your provision." 👉 "And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:19 (NKJV)

🛡️ Are you fighting an uphill battle against anxiety, addiction, or fear? He says: "I AM your victory." 👉 "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." - 1 Corinthians 15:57 (NKJV)

⚠️ SOUL-SEARCHING QUESTIONS FOR TODAY:
Take a moment to quiet your heart and honestly ask yourself:

1️⃣ What "blank" are you trying to fill on your own? Are you trying to find your identity, peace, or validation in relationships, social media, work, or money, only to end up feeling empty?

2️⃣ Are you holding onto a check signed by God but living like a spiritual bankrupt? Why do we worry as if we are orphans when the Great I AM is our Father?

3️⃣ What is the giant in your life right now? Can you look that giant in the face and say, "My situation is hard, but the Great I AM is bigger"?

🌱 BRINGING IT HOME:
The enemy wants you to focus on what you lack. He wants you to stare at your empty bank account, your broken relationships, and your weakness.
But God is asking you to look at Who He Is.

Centuries after Moses, Jesus stepped onto the scene and declared, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM." (John 8:58, NKJV). He is the ultimate fulfillment of that blank check.

Today, stop trying to be your own strength. Stop trying to run on empty. Hand the pen back to the Savior. Let Him write "I AM" over your anxiety, over your past, and over your future.

What do you need Him to be for you today?

🔥 THE MYSTERY OF THE THORNY BUSH AND THE SNAKE'S TAIL 🔥 - Part 1

Ever felt like your mistakes have permanently sidelined you?

Have you ever looked at your life and thought, “I’ve messed up too badly. I’m living in a dry, lonely desert of my own making, and God could never use me again”?

If so, take a deep breath. Pull up a chair. Let’s journey into a desolate wilderness called Midian and uncover a profound, beautiful mystery that has the power to change how you see your ordinary, daily struggles today.

🏜️ 1. THE WILDERNESS: THE PLACE OF NO PLATFORM.

Before he was a deliverer, Moses was a fugitive. He had tried to do God's work in his own strength, killed an Egyptian taskmaster, and fled in terror. For forty long years, he lived in exile. Imagine the haunting weight of his guilt and shame. Every day, walking behind sheep, he must have heard the mocking whispers of his past: “You are a murderer. You threw away your calling.”

But look at where God decides to meet him. Not in a royal palace, and not in front of a cheering crowd.

📖 Exodus 3:1-2 (NKJV) > "Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush..."

God meets Moses in the “back of the desert.” A desolate, silent place with no platform, no audience, and no prestige.

We live in a culture obsessed with platforms, visibility, and "influence." We think we need a stage to be used by God. But God specializes in the back of the desert. He encounters us when we are at our lowest, in the quiet, ordinary spaces of our lives-our kitchens, our lonely cars, our quiet bedrooms, or our seasons of career transition.

Are you trying to build a platform, or are you willing to let God meet you in your hidden, desolate places? Can you trust Him in your quiet season?

Stay planted 🌳

Don't let unhealed people run you away from a good church. Everyone is on a journey toward freedom, growth, and healing, including you.

That doesn't mean you should tolerate disrespect, manipulation, or unhealthy behavior. Healthy boundaries are biblical and necessary. But don't allow someone's brokenness to cause you to miss what God may be doing in a community.

Churches are filled with imperfect people learning to follow a perfect Savior. If you leave every time you encounter someone's flaws, you'll keep searching for a perfect church that doesn't exist.

Give grace where grace is needed. Set boundaries where boundaries are needed. And keep your eyes on Jesus, not on people.

😭 THE ANATOMY OF A CRY: Why Your Tears Are Never Wasted 😭

Have you ever cried out to God in the dark, whispered a desperate prayer, and been met with nothing but an agonizing, heavy silence?

When the bills are piling up, when the relationship is fracturing, or when the diagnosis is terrifying, the silence of God can feel like the absence of God.

But scripture tells a completely different story.

In Exodus 2:24-25 (NKJV), the children of Israel were groaning under the crushing weight of Egyptian bo***ge. They cried out. And look at how Heaven responded:

“So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God acknowledged them.”

Behind the scenes of your waiting, there is a beautiful, four-fold divine movement happening on your behalf. When you cry, God does four things:

👂 1. He HEARS. In Hebrew, this is Shama - it doesn't mean He simply registers a sound. It means He listens with undivided, parental attention. He leans His ear down to your chest. Your tears have a voice, and He hears the unspoken words behind them.

“You number my wanderings; Put my tears into Your bottle; Are they not in Your book?” - Psalm 56:8 (NKJV)

📜 2. He REMEMBERS. When God "remembers," it doesn't mean He forgot. In the Bible, God's remembrance is an active word. It means He is preparing to step into action based on His promises. He remembers His covenant with you, sealed by the blood of Jesus. He is faithful.

👁️ 3. He LOOKS. He doesn’t turn His face away from your suffering. He looks upon you. He sees the sleepless nights, the anxious thoughts, the brave face you put on for everyone else. He sees the details of your pain.

❤️ 4. He ACKNOWLEDGES. In Hebrew, this is Yada - to know intimately and deeply. God didn't just observe their pain from a distance; He felt it. He entered into their suffering. He knows you, He understands you, and He cares.

⚠️ THE TRUTH WE MUST HOLD ONTO TODAY:
God’s timing is not His silence. Just because He is quiet does not mean He is quiet on you. Just because there is a delay does not mean there is a denial. Silence in the natural is often the womb of God's supernatural movement in the spiritual.

👉 SOUL-SEARCHING QUESTIONS FOR TODAY:
Are you mistaking God’s quiet preparation in your life for His abandonment?

Are you trying to force your own timing because you are afraid He has forgotten His promises to you?

Can you trust Him enough to lay your cry at His feet, knowing He is already working on the answer?

Today's Prayer: Lord, when I cannot hear Your voice, help me trust Your heart. I thank You that You hear me, You remember Your promises to me, You see my pain, and You intimately know my situation. I rest in Your perfect timing today. Amen.

👇 Drop a "Amen" if you needed this reminder today, and share this to encourage someone who might be crying in secret.

WHEN YOU ONLY HAVE A GROAN, GOD HAS A PROMISE. 😭🔥

“So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.” - Exodus 2:24 (NKJV)

Right before God unleashed the history-splitting miracles of the Exodus, before the ten plagues, and before the parting of the Red Sea... there was a sound.

It wasn’t a polished, theological prayer.
It wasn’t a perfectly structured declaration of faith.

It was a groan.

The Israelites had been crushed under the heavy hand of Egyptian bo***ge for 400 years. Their spirits were so broken they couldn’t even find the words to pray. All they had left was a wordless, raw, gut-wrenching cry.

And Scripture says: "God heard their groaning."

How comforting is it to know that God doesn't require eloquent vocabulary to move on your behalf? Sometimes, our deepest pain cannot be articulated. Sometimes, all we can manage is a sigh, a tear, or a groan in the dark.

But look at what happens next: "...and God remembered His covenant."

When the Bible says God "remembered," it doesn't mean He had a sudden lapse in memory. In Hebrew, the word Z***r (to remember) means "to prepare to act on behalf of." When God hears your groan, He doesn't look at your performance, your mistakes, or your current weakness. He looks at His covenant. For the Israelites, it was the covenant with Abraham. For us today, it is the New Covenant sealed in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. When you cry out, God remembers the cross. He remembers that your freedom has already been paid for.

🔍 HEART-SEARCHING QUESTIONS FOR TODAY:
Take a moment to sit with these. Let’s go deep:

1. Are you trying to sanitize your prayers? Are you waiting until you "have it all together" to talk to God, when He is actually waiting for your raw, unedited groan?

2. Has the length of your trial made you believe God has forgotten you? The Israelites groaned for generations. But God's silence is never His absence. His timing is not a sign of His apathy, He is setting the stage for a deliverance only He can get the glory for.

3. Are you anchoring your hope in your changing feelings, or in His unchanging covenant? Your feelings tell you it's over. His covenant tells you it is finished. Which one are you listening to today?

💡 THE TAKEAWAY TO MEMORIZE:
"God doesn't measure the eloquence of your prayer; He measures the sincerity of your cry and the integrity of His promise."

If you are in a season of silent heavy lifting, exhausting battles, or grief that has stolen your words, take heart. Your groaning has reached the ears of the Almighty. He hasn't forgotten you. He is remembering His covenant with you right now, and He is preparing to act.

Cross over from trying to survive in your own strength, and rest in His covenant.

👇 Drop a "He hears me" in the comments if you needed this reminder today. Share this with someone who needs comfort in their silent battle. 🛡️✨

GOD WILLS TO SATISFY YOU ❤️

Every good thing you need in life can be found in God. He is your one stop for absolute satisfaction.

Don’t let only others tell you why Jesus Christ came to this world. Let Jesus Christ speak for Himself…

In John 10:10, Jesus states, "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly"

God loves you more than you love yourself. He knows what’s best for you and always wants the best for you. Therefore, you can trust Him with your life. In Isaiah 1:19, He said, “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.” The Living Bible renders it in a rather fascinating way. It says, “If you will only let me help you, if you will only obey, then I will make you rich!”

Join us on Sunday from 10:30am - 12:00pm at 575 Old Brownsville Road, Gallaway TN 38036.

Forsake. Follow. Become. 🔥

In Luke 18:28, Peter said to Jesus, “See, we have left all and followed You.”

Jesus didn't tell him it was a waste. Instead, He promised a breathtaking return: “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or parents or brothers or wife or children, for the sake of the kingdom of God, who shall not receive many times more in this present time, and in the age to come eternal life” (Luke 18:29-30, NKJV).

The formula for a transformed life is simple, but it demands everything:
1️⃣ Forsake all.
2️⃣ Follow Jesus.
3️⃣ Watch Him make you.

Remember His first invitation? “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men” (Matthew 4:19, NKJV).

Notice the order: You don't make yourself; He makes you. But the depth of His making depends on the depth of your following. The more you surrender, the more He shapes you.

Total devotion. Uncompromised commitment. Giving up everything to gain the One who is everything.

When you follow Jesus with all your heart, He doesn't just use you, He builds you, decorates you with His grace, and raises you up to your true destiny.

Are you ready to leave the shore behind? ⛵️👇

BE SOBER 🔥

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, roams about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Pet 5:8)

Be sober...be prepared to meet every attack of the enemy one on one....be observant...always be conscious of what is happening to you and around you...be sensitive to the prompting of the Holy Spirit, for He will alert you in your spirit man when something it not right! So...don't ignore the promptings when they come! Keep a watchful eye for the first sign of a spiritual attack from the enemy...pay close attention...be alert and don't be caught sleeping...stay focused and don't be easily distracted! Are you emotions under attack? Are your finances under attack? Is your marriage or your relationship under attack? Is your ministry under attack? Is your character under attack and on the firing line? Are you keeping a watchful eye for the enemy? If not, the enemy can take you by surprise and get an advantage over you!
